@x0mb33 I got that problem too. I wanted to check the doctor on this due to future problems. I guess its probably because your using your knees alot and putting pressure on it. Protect your knees and use knee pads.
I know this is an old comment, but yeah, it's alright. My joints crack a lot too and I think it's due to stiffness or something similar. Checkups with a doctor and asking them about it could help.
@x0mb33 this happens to me too. but you can solve this problem, if you really are serious about dancing and you want it as a career, then you can go to a speacil doctor that massages your muscles and streches them out. Yes I heard it really hurts but EVERY pro dancer has to do this or they will get some serious injuries. But if you just want to dance for fun , you don't have to do it, but i suggest you strecth your legs for improvement.

you can hear his knees cracking as he goes down, mine do that too... is that ok?

Perhaps something to add, wear protectors and do a proper warmup as well as stretching on e regular basis.
