    The message is clear. If the government is unwilling to invest into the NHS to help retain the staff, then they shouldn't rely on the NHS to tackle the health crisis in this country. They should openly tell the public that they are not willing to fund their NHS and to not have any expectations when it comes to their health.

    *NO IT MEANS A 6% PAY CUT* inflation is 11% pay offer 5% = -6%
    Its ONLY a pya INCREASE if its over 11%. 15% would = a 4% pay INCREASE.

    wish they at least evened out the offer to inflation or equal to Scotland. Thinking of moving up north or another country (Australia and New Zealand have WAYYYYYY better offers). This is not worth it anymore 👎👎

    5% is what the PRB would have recommended anyway, if not more. Also, prices have already risen by 10% and aren't going down, even if inflation does fall to 2% (which is unlikely). So, this deal is a big win for the government, and a very bad deal for NHS

    It’s the last time I’m standing on my doorstep banging my pots and pans for them ! A lot of people would have been very grateful for that pay offer , Nurses are more interested in money than helping patients they are disgraceful 😮

      They had a 5.5% rise last year and a 3% rise the year before when no other pubic sector worker got one . They have a very generous pension and sick pay scheme but that never gets mentioned in the media because it doesn’t fit the agenda of a poor nurse .

    Nurses crying over 5%. I’m in the utility industry and have never had that. So many others haven’t either. They start on 29k a year now after graduation… that’s ridiculous I don’t understand their frustration at all… I started on 19! They chose this career!
