Using exhaust pipe to fabricate is multi-purpose... shape and structure 👏

- Bad Chad has started shaping and applying exhaust pipe along the top of the quarter panels that will connect the quarter panels to the trunk. This same process will be done on top of the doors as well. The main purpose was for the rounded shape but it also adds structure which is an added bonus 👏

GOOD JOB!
Another masterpiece in progress go BAD CHAD 👏👏👏👏
I love the trunk area, so cool.
Protect ur hearing dude!👍🦻
Say it again, didnt hear you 😂
Best looking Volvo i have seen🚕
I'll be back for future projects, but this is not a convertible. It's a partial car. No windows, etc. It'll end up like the Caddy with the fin down the middle. Like I said. Will check in on future builds, but not this Volvo.
Its not even done yet. Damn.
Chad, love it. You really keep it simple without fancy tools. Thanks for keeping it real. Thanks for the video Jolene n
GREAT job on this Volvo. I always had a soft spot for these "1947-8" looking body styles, and your vision of it as a low-slung rag-top is very creative. I think you may have made yourself a little extra work by not cutting the ends of the pipe to conform to the door-jambs instead of the other way round, but you'll find a way to pull it all together as always. The scale of this car is just about perfect at like 3/4 size of an old Ford or Chrysler that would have been used back in the day. 👍👍👍
Very nice work. Beautiful Volvo.
love the fender skirts the whole rear end is taking on a very dramatic look from cars of a different era great job on this very difficult fabrication, your quality and experience has come through in a very beautiful and custom hot rod way.
It’s a great look !
I'm surprised that with the many customized cars you have built that I read so many negative comments
Probably all armchair quarterbacks
Another awesome video, Chad ,cheers ❤
Jolene your camera skills are exceptional, it's almost like being there. Ontario fan
???
I love your style Bad Chad! The Flintstones would approve no floors must be building it for Fred! 😂👍
There's a lot going on from day to day, Chad. You might have had to reinforce the sides behind the doors with something, as they have been weakened since the roof came off and nothing holds together. Always just as educational to see your way of working with metal. Jolene is a real pro at handling the camera and editing and it's always fun to see Nate and Dug in the house. 😎👍
Car looking amazing Chad what a transformation 👍 Jolene thank you for filming and editing etc 👍
The car is looking great Chad and Jolene 👍👍
Excellent body and camera work!
Car is lookin pretty cool...gonna be a nice summertime cruiser...low and ready to go...😊
Hello Team Hiltz happy Saturday everyone! Chad the Volvo is coming along nicely and it does not look much like a Volvo anymore which is a good thing in my opinion! I have never been big on the looks of those cars but that one is really starting to take shape and really looks like a roadster! Doug and Nate keep up the great work together everyone makes a great team! Jolene great video and camera work as always you are the best at it!
Looking good Mr. Chad
Why is one side straight and the other curved ?
The effort you put into all your work is inspiring.
How many people would love to live c Chad life.Because I would
From the green goblin to this ..I love them all ...there all different and one of a kind it will be cool to have one of chad rides ..

plastic chrome ,exhaust pipes is Chads trade mark, good job again
It's really coming together nicely Chad and Jolene
Lookin clean.... im really gonna like this car . .👍,Jolene showed a picture of the car awhile back on a screen of a phone. I really hope you go with that color, it's truly a sweet color...very unique.
Amazing work as always.
It's really coming together now .👍👍
You have such an eye. Nice. Then you have people that work well with your eccentricities. That is the trick. Find the right people that fit with your style of work and communication. Work it bro!
Smoothing out the rear quarters is an interesting look.
Wouldn't expect anything else from chad it's his trade mark to use exhaust pipe
You act like he is the only one. Many others do. You use what materials you have and what works.
Yep ! With his imagination and skill, Chad can achieve the almost impossible !!
Well filmed Jolene...what no music!😲
The man makes some pretty impressive and Accurate cuts with that grinder !!
🙃🙂 sure does...👍
I never really liked that style Volvo , it was different but never cool ...until this one. it's incredible how Bad Chad wraps his mind around things when building these rolling work of art .
.
Awesome, Thanks
Looking good
Nice
It's coming together nicely BC!
It reminds me of the bumper cars we rode in at the state fair years ago.
Coming along well Chad , capping the rear quarters and the door tops with the exhaust tube will give it some nice clean lines , for sure 👌 👍
This build is going to be very cool ride, Fina approved
Happy Sat all! Overall, I like the fit that Chad has applied to the Volvo. only thing throwing me off a bit is the skirt and maybe it's the color for me thinking that it overwhelms the whole back of the car, maybe it's flatter than it appears and once painted that will change hopefully! Good job all! tfs tc
wow great job
The High Jack Bootie Volvo. Looking friggin good.
Hi all from Trois-Rivieres Quebec
The Volvo's taking a little bit of shape to her now looks good keep up the good work Chad and good work on the camera Jolene

Much love and great work from all of you enjoy your show Jolene. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Very interesting to watch. Gave me all sorts of ideas. 👍
That bum reminds me of the Roger rabbit cartoon car
That reminds me of the car I seen in the circus last week
is buddy welding galvanized pipe without a respirator?
From what I can see at the moment, Chad is winning bigtime. The guys with the prematuer snoty remarks, will soon wil soon have to swallow their ther nonsens. I, for one, have learned a lot about welding lite metal sheets. Thank yoy Chad😊
yeh he knows what he is doing love his work
AMEN BROTHER !! Well said 😊
Yes, sir
he has used exhaust pipe before
Ya think?
What hasn't he used?🥴
So has many others.
Lol 21 ...love it
Have the trunk lid hinge backwards and make a rumble seat, that would be awesome
Hi Doug!
like the bargey look at the back
Thanks, I really like your show. I never liked the car shows that just argue all the time, and never show you what they are doing. I love that you show how to do it.
Looking better everyday, but hope you put running boards on it.
Chad let me use some of your words. you must admit it looks awesome.
Hello the rear is incredible ❤😂🥁👍👌👋🙏😉
#1 ❤❤❤❤❤
You do some nice work and you have great helpers 👍
Not bad chad.
Chevy exhuast manifolds from a 350 would make good arm rests on each side in the back seat
Big buta
It's Saturday. GO BAD CHAD NATION
Saturday
Just me thinking the wheel skirts don't flow with the car I think flush mount skirts would make it look good smooth
my exact sentiments!
Looking better everyday. I believe we need a future build that hasn't been done. No chop or fender skirts. I wonder how many other were sold besides the Tbird?
What a great transformation to a convertible and excellent craftsmanship. I was looking at the boot and thought if you extended the boot lid down into the fabricated back bottom panel it may just look factory and the extra length will make it easier to get things in and out of the boot. Also it would look great with a convertible folding vinyl roof. What do you think? James from Australia
@@jameskeys8263Respectfully, a “Roadster” Sir.
Way to go --------- wear ear protection !!!!!
What are your plans for a soft top in terms of mechanics and storage when down?

Making art takes time!
Slow down!
How hot does the exhaust get? Seems weird but I am down with it.
Comment!!! Happy Days Yall!!!!😂Etc.etc 😊!!!!
Hi fina.
👍
I'm not sure where the random hate comes from. This is both educational and entertaining. It doesn't have to be something other than what it is. I'm enjoying the process.
Upholstery roll to match the front seats?
it is amazing what talent can do
this build is looking awesome
🙂
A muffler shop could have made that radius bend, looks rather crude...
Fade away front fenders would look better.
I don’t see that there’s any need at all to cool the weld on that pipe if you warped that pipe, you need to stop welding
It would be faster for him if he didn’t even put a pipe on
Started your sentence right, “I don’t see” you’re right, you don’t.
PLEASE CONCEDER STRETCHING THE FRONT FENDERS INT9 THE DOORS
