If they're at .500 at the end of July, you sell, idc. This team is who they are. We shouldn't have to be playing out of our minds in July to buy instead of sell, but then fizzle out in September...

Trade any position player you can for any reasonable return..Except for Busch and PCA..Obviously their not trading Swanson yet..Every other position player has a price tag on them.

When will Counsel CLAIM THIS TEAM - as HIS? And he has to take The RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT BEING BAD!

Only saving grace was the good pitching from our Starters and young guys.

What input will he get on the players he gets? He said in the beginning of the season he sit back and observe. UNTIL WHEN WILL HE CLAIM “HIS TEAM!”

I would definitely keep Bellinger but any other position player for young controllable arms for the BP. We need a 3rd , Catcher and a DH.

Not Busch not PCA They have too much future potential..Busch is having a very good 1st year..Because the Cubs are bad , Does not mean it's time to get carried away and trade our future star players.

Become a Die Hard and get all our bad takes first. For example, Counsel is a B+ manager. If we clean house we'll be as bad as the Sox. (News flash, the Cubs aren't any better than the Sox.)
    Yikes!

Anyone that claims Councell is better than Ross has a severe Brain Injury and needs Major help. The only one worse on Earth Than Councell is the Moron that Hired him in the First place Hoyer. Hoyer has to go asap. as well as Carter Hawkens like him name said he needs to fly away with Hoyer asap! Anyone who thinks Ross is bad just watch the Cubs today and watch just how good he really was. Councell needs a bus ticket back to the Brewers, but they to smart to take him back. They have the one who taught him everything already in that spot. Why have the Student when you have his teacher?

The people that were injured at the ballpark are more important than talking about this shitty Cubs team. Their well being matters, the state of this baseball team doesn’t.

@@Elias-Alexander Worrying about your fellow humans, a few of which you just spend the whole day parting with whom got injured (thank God all the injuries were relatively minor) is missing the mark? I was under twenty minutes, five of which was ad reads (so it was more like 15/16 minutes. The other almost hour of the Cubs Podcast was about the Cubs.

It was a pretty important event that we haven’t addressed yet because this is our first show since it happened. Some of our co-workers were involved in it, and we wanted to give some time (in total less than 15 minutes of the show) for Nicholas to provide an update and give his perspective on what happened.
