The Seasons of East dress looks good. For the drag lines, its hard to be sure with just 2 pics but it looks to me as if it's a bit tight at the bust apex and then a bit too loose below. So worth considering a full bust adjustment - particularly when you go down a size. Maybe toile just the top to check before committing really nice fabric?
The invisible zip isn't too hard once you've done a few. Lots of tutorials online. Top top, iron the zip tape flat if you can and use an invisible zip foot x
I’ve just discovered this dress and think it’s a perfect winter evening dress for winter in Brisbane. I agree, a print will be nicer. Missing your more regular videos.
My previous sewing room was much nicer and I had it all to myself - you can find the sewing room tour on the links below: th-cam.com/video/A_cup0gDWwA/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/YYmnNyZta5U/w-d-xo.html
My husband makes me smile all the time to! I see you're so in room is a little bit like mine!😅😮😅 Dusty pink is one of my favorite colors also. The dresses very beautiful on you. Would you have to add an invisible zip since it would fit over your head?
Great little pattern actually. Just sew the centre front seam for longer - past the marked neckline point on the pattern. Hope this helps. I also didn't hand stitch my neck line but used my machine x
I subscribe to the 45 box and received this pattern. Unfortunately, I didn’t have your foresight to hold it up to me and it’s huge! Like you, the tucks at the front don’t look nice so will change to darts and I will also take the front seam higher as you did as it’s a bit too revealing for me! I will make another though with modifications. Thanks for sharing. x
@@mysewcialthread it’s just far too big - I’ve taken to wearing it as a house dress. I chose a rust linen and my daughter and her fiancée say it makes me look like a monk! Definitely not a make to share 😂😂
What fun to have a new sewing room! I always find something that I didn't remember I had when I tidy my sewing room or fabric stash.
It's always nice to de clutter and re organise. X

Thanks Eileen. I thought bust was ok but you're probably right. Waist definitely too big. X
Teal will look fantastic on you!!!❤
I love this dress pattern except for the hidden zip which worries me 😊

Ah, thank you for watching. Hoping to get more content out regularly but still working around baby Theo's sleeping routine x

Haha. Hubbies are great. The dress would probably fit over your head without a zip. X
Did you finish blouse? How do I see it?
Yes, it's finished. Vlog link below or check out my channel: June unboxing

@@mysewcialthread many thanks that was my thought of how to do it but wanted to see what you did xx

Ah, great to hear yes the tucks are a weird addition I think. Send me a photo of yours. I'd love to see it x
