    What a great looking creek system. I do need to venture over that way one day.
    Thanks for the review in the crevice tool. It’s not about making money to retire or re orders for me.
    It’s about putting good quality tools and equipment at affordable prices into the hands on prospectors.
    Heavy pans mate.

      @@Matts_Crevice_tools more than welcome to come over this way for some suburban prospecting mate, I can only give my opinion on your gear mate its quality and that’s not easy to find these days.

    0.24g better than getting skunked, more rain , more gold on the move. I cant wait to get back into my spot, attack those good crevices that have been good to me in the past. If the water is flowing enough to run the forward classifier sluice again. Great tools by Matt. Awesome pointer tool too!
    Cheers Andy PPA

    Matt's gear looks the goods. Taking inspiration from the classifier, I built my own out of two cut-down plastic buckets, some chicken wire and a few bolts. If it somehow survives the first outing, it will prob rust out before the second... Cheers for the vid :)

      Im all for creating and making things myself but can also appreciate tools made by a pro haha

    Useful outing, tests, new bit of gully. Matt's classifier was already a hit, now, that crevicing tool will be too. If there's an old map for Long Gully, does it show an actual bakehouse?! Could go a stroll for a coffee scroll, maybe find some coins and relics. You'll tell your young fella, and you'll soon be out detecting, as we had with the circa 1980 red Kmart detectors, we still have our two! It'd be funny to have a crack with it, rewired, fettled the plastic with a lighter, in our teens.
    On research, tell us if you see any on maps or elsewhere instances for "Monkey Dung Creek", monkeys euphemism for koalas, association with the "Emerald Diggings" of 1858. 6000 ounces between 30 "Lucky Germans". You've updated and improved IT skills that we've not kept up with. Much stuff gets uploaded and decoded on Trove. Our back's been in setting concrete mode, and hadn't chanced getting jiggered in excruciating agony and cold, even in our antique rubber waders, with the bicycle puncture repairs, tempting as they are. Nah, fk that. Best nugget size out of the Dandenongs via any surveyor's reports, 7 ounces, still extremely attractive to our imaginings. Been plenty of fires and floods the last 100 years & there's been few going looking - forestry commission, and then parks, locking up most areas and nearly all thoughts, risking charges, but like your neck of the woods, heavily worked past, but doesn't nature grow back all perty and pretty?! Now hiding delicious deer, oh, dear, when they hurtle on security camera footage down Lansdowne and smash up someone's lovely glass foyer, and try running up the wooden stairs and attack the wife and children, saddums! The crevicing hook or yabby pump ought save from deer onslaught, might have cornered baby Bambi Sambar and ma 'n' pa come crashing through the woods. Mate with shovel to have your back, Matt's hook on the attack. Don't laugh, but we've a family friend hit a a horse on the road, and it attacked her rearing and striking through the windscreen. Anyhoo, we'll say g'day to Mo in case any of our excessive wording excites. Novalija as geographic surname hint, I'd pronounce it correctly, we'll hint. Ask: rakija or sljivovic?😂

    • @anothergoldprospector
      @anothergoldprospector  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, Long Gully is fairly easy to access so with my back currently it was the only real option, Matt makes quality stuff that's for sure. I haven't seen any info on the bakehouse Frenchy might know though
      I do know about the "lucky" Germans in the Dandys and have a solid idea of the location hit me up on email if you like.
