I love this opera, but this performance is frankly disappointing. Davidsen has none of the vocal lushness or playfulness required for this role and comes off as screechy. Kelsey screams a lot but lacks power and menace. De Tommaso is bland. Thank you for posting, as always, so we can all hear this!
