Hi Naomi, have you found one yet, where are you in Japan. I just moved to Japan and am trying to figure out how l can help others to find the Lord in Japan.

I just want thank him for his dedication and hard work. God bless. As a Japanese Christian, I can say his words are accurate to explain the situation here.
God bless Japanese Christians, may the faith continue to blossom in the Land of the Rising Sun🙏✝️🇯🇵 Sending prayers from your brethren down south, the Philippines🇵🇭
@@EthInGrace In fact, Christianity and Islam always eliminate the culture of people in parts of the world. Culture is related to identity. If your identity is lost, you will be swayed by outside groups who want something from you. I am a history student. Colonization did not only come from physical, but ideological, cultural and religious. You no longer like your country's culture and prefer foreign products. Likewise, Indonesia and the Philippines have lost their national identities due to invasions from Christians and Muslims since the 15th and 16th centuries. Look at them now. I am objective, with a third point of view, without partiality. Meanwhile, you like to spread your religion only because it is based on the holy book that you believe in without questioning its truth. And very subjective and filled with strong desires. It's very funny that you have many religions in the world and you think the truth is only your religion. It's also very funny that God only likes Christians. Whereas in Europe and North America Christianity declined drastically, replaced by atheism, scientology, the new age movement, and of course the Islamic invasion as occurred in England and Canada. Take over your place first, bro.
Please please please talk about St. Nikita of Japan and his amazing story!! One of the most amazing missionaries in the history of Christianity, and not enough is said about Orthodox Christians and our missionary work!
So I have this coworker I became friends with over the past month. She has been to my home with other friends and has seen my Bible and asked why I am Christian but I wasn’t able to share the gospel because it was in the middle of a party. I simply explained that my Christianity affects how I deal with my relationships. That’s all I had time to say. During another visit she asked when you read the Bible is it out of duty or is it for peace. I said peace but again I wasn’t able to say more because it was as she was leaving. Finally she was going through a tough time a few weeks ago. I ended the conversation with “as a Christian I am praying for you.” Unfortunately due to shifting work situations and the fact that she just started a relationship with a guy means that we will probably become more distant. I am sad I wasn’t able to say more to her. I just hope God can use what I did say and do. I didn’t come to Japan as a missionary but lately it seems that my testimony has been shining through simply how I live differently. I don’t know if I am going to be called her permanently. I do miss my family back in the states.
Be encouraged. You planted seeds and now God will provide the rain for it to sow and a gardener to tend to it. Continue to pray for her salvation and ask the Lord to put laborers in her path that are fully mature so that she can repent from her sins and give her life to Christ. I am an American,I lived in Okinawa, Japan over 10 years ago. I was an unbeliever before I left. I went to a Christian woman's retreat with a woman that I lost touch with due to military duty, but I'll never forget her or stop praying for her. At the time my husband wasn't a believer, but he watched me walk through his unbelief as a fresh baby Christian and he made the decision to give his life to Christ when we moved back to the states. I came home as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and now several children later; my husband and I are building a legacy on the foundations of Christ. Everyone in my home is a believer. Take heart my friend, the seeds you sow in righteousness will be like oak trees. Continue steadfast in prayer for her.
Be encouraged and pray for God to send another opportunity and another. I was reminded recently thru a gospel song, remember we may be the only Jesus that they see. Pray for Jesus to give you even just one word to share. You’re not alone the Lord will equip you. Continue to pray and ask the Holy Spirit for ways to share the gospel. He is faithful and will equip you in Jesus name 🙏🏽
Witness and living by example are often more powerful than talking. With talking, people hear with one ear and let it go through another. You never know what impact can even a small remark have, just something as simple as saying 'yes I'm a Christian and I love God' even if that's the only sentence you're able to say.
May the Lord strengthen His servant Bro. Chad in Tokyo Japan. I pray for more opportunities for evangelism and obedience to God's word in Jesus mighty name Amen.
There is a missionary from Indonesia who just converted a Shinto shrine into a church located at "3 Chome-26-8 Kitaotsuka, Toshima City, Tokyo 170-0004, Japan". May more Japanese and other eastern people be in the Kingdom of God, in Jesus Christ amen.
I'm 19 years old from the Philippines. I have a heart for missions so I really appreciate learning more from missionaries like in this video. Thank you for your hardwork making these videos! Looking forward to more Q and As with missionaries! I watched the whole video and will watch and learn more from your content!
I really appreciated this so much. I have a tremendous love for Japan and its people. I think you cut to the heart of this situation there. I am currently learning Japanese. I met a Japanese woman that I have developed a friendship with over the last year and a half. I would love to become a missionary in Japan. I don't know if that is what the Lord has for me at this point in my life, but I am definitely taking the things said here to heart. Blessings on you!
I'm glad I came across this video. I've been a Christian my whole life and as I mature, I am thinking more and more about ways about how to share the gospel effectively to those around me and especially to Japanese people since it has been a desire of mine to go do ministry in some way, shape or form in the future. It is nice to hear some experiences of how people have been touched by God as well as some of the emotions and feelings that someone can go through while in Japan. I am reminded and encouraged to grow in my spiritual disciplines and prioritize my abiding in His presence. I will remember to pray for Japan, the church, purity, for opportunities to share the gospel and for the workers (current & future) of the Gospel. Blessings!
Gosh. How beautiful. About the man who read the sermon on the mount to hear the command and want to obey instead of justify sin and what I hope they know is that in their obedience and through Christ they are justified. Just beautiful ❤
This video is beyond excellent, and I don’t say that lightly. The questions are spot-on, the answers and pointed and accurate. The genuine faith is so evident. May God continue the work He has begun in Japan!
How can I share the gospel in Japan 11:18. This section is so powerful and important for people who wish to share the Word. We are doing apologetics all the time.
For years i have always said that another brother or sister, regardless of their nationality is family, and finally i hear someone say the same thing, anyone in the faith anywhere is family, and that's one of the beautiful things about Jesus, He makes us all family.
I’ve been a missionary in Tokyo for ten years. One of the ways we share the gospel is through the Japanese tea ceremony and Sen no Rikyu through his biblically based tea ceremony introduced during the “Christian Century” in the sixteenth century. Japan actually needs to be reintroduce to Jesus and retold the story of the Christian century. Ultimately so many Japanese warlords and their families were becoming Christian through the Japanese tea ceremony that the Japanese elite closed the doors of Japan to the world for many centuries and made being a Christian punishable by death up until the nineteenth century. The story needs to be retold so that Japan doesn’t repeat history a second time. Jesus is coming soon… Pray for Japan.
17:46 There's so few Christians because Japan wiped out early Christian movements and banned it for 250 years. Christianity in Japan has basically had to start-up from the ground up.
I was a missionary in the People's Republic of China for five years and I can say that all of these ideas are familiar to me. The Japanese way of life is not really foreign to me: there, people pray in a temple to gods they don't really believe in, and in the West, people go to church at Christmas because it's tradition.
Cultural Christianity. What I've discovered is that most of the world is Postmodern. They are culturally religious but not dedicated, for the most part. They are certainly moral relativistis....why? Anyone educated with a naturalistic worldview falls into this category, they were indoctrinated into this belief system....this is a false religion they don't realize they're actually following.
As a young Christian of 4 years it’s a daunting thing to be called by God to go to Japan when you’re really just figuring out how to live in your own culture… but it’s also a great blessing. I know completely what God has designed specifically for me, do I know the details? No. But he wants me to by bye faith “The mind of a person plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9 and it’s been an experience learning a new language, only having a year and a half of that experience under my belt, before God comes and tells you the times come! If anyone sees this pray that the Lord would give me wisdom in this and that I might not lean on my own understanding but in all my ways acknowledge him.
This is pretty eye opening, I think in Australia we have a bit of that image of “religion”, that it’s harmful and brain washing etc. It’s hard to separate the notion of “religion” from how good and great the gospel is!!
Thank you SO much for making this! Chad was so articulate and thorough in his responses, I’d love to use this as a resource for folks in my circles considering Japan as a mission field, either to go or to support. I’ve also been personally researching Mustard Seed while I await a chance to connect and grow a relationship with them, so this was incredibly timely! All these videos have been so wonderfully planned and produced, such a blessing to me - thank you, thank you!!
Excellent questions. The answers were ... what should I say ... rather scattered at times. But whatever, Chad radiates devotion to Jesus. God bless him and his wife. 🙏
Click on the little gear/wheel symbol in the bottom right corner of the video. Then click Subtitles. Then click Auto Translate. Go down the list and choose Spanish. I only read/listened to a few lines (because the volume is so low on this video) but it seems to be correct. It does not seem to be the crappy auto captions that TH-cam has. It seems to be actually translated from English to Spanish. Hope that helps.
these were some inspiring comments! I hope I can help make a difference in Japan one day by being a missionary, God bless I hope you continue spreading the Gospel in Japan. お大事に!
Japan is a land of beautiful horticulture, but the hearts of the people are hardened and need more cultivation and patience. Luke 8:6 “And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.”
Interestingly enough I’ve seen in Japanese movies ppl acknowledging Christmas (🎄 in a coffee shop etc) but probably not knowing what it is about exactly.
I feel in my heart to do something like this but I feel so scared. I’m scared of not having enough money, scared tht this is not my calling and falling on my face. It feels like so much is on the line. Praying for clarity
God says: « As long as you work for Me, and you keep doing what I sent you to do, it is My responsibility to pay you and to sustain you » And keep in mind that He’s the king of nations, gold and silver belong to Him. You are not to worry about sustenance, that’s His job, just genuinely focus on the mission He gives you and you will never have to care about anything else. So I would advise you to keep praying about your calling, and when you are cleared by the Holy Spirit (usually through the feeling of great peace the man in the video talked about), just go. I would also advise you to meditate on Matthew 6:33 until light breaks forth. When this understanding will be granted to you, you will have faith and assurance like never before that He can never send you somewhere and then abandon you there. It’s the same level of faith Abraham had, portrayed in the following verses, but I believe it takes revelation: «By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise.» Hebrews 11:8-9 NIV Grace to just up and go at God’s command I pray you receive it now in Jesus name 😊🙏. PS: I also would recommend you to listen to some teachings by Bishop David Oyedepo, a man of God who received this grace and teaches about it very well.

Hello! We have a great page on our site below that explains what the Gospel is! Though, we also encourage you to find a local church near you so that they can help answer your questions and support you. radical.net/what-is-the-gospel/
The gospel is the story of Jesus as it is told by His disciples in the Bible. Our sin (the things we do that are wrong or selfish or evil) separate us from God because He is perfect and holy. The only punishment that can pay for sin is death. But God did not want to be separated from us so He came to Earth in the form of a man- He was still 100% God and at the same time he was also fully man. He lived His life perfectly and was wrongfully accused put to death. He knew this would happen and let it happen willingly so that His death could pay the price for all the sins of the world so that we don’t have to be separated from God any longer. Because Jesus is God, when He died He defeated death and after 3 days He came back to life. In the gospel it says that if you believe Jesus is God, and you confess with your mouth that He is the Lord of your life, and you repent (apologize and resolve to turn away from) your sins, He will forgive all of your sin and because of that forgiveness we can know God and be with Him forever! When our bodies die in this world, our spirits will go on living either with God in Heaven, or without God in Hell. Choosing to follow God means we can trust in His promise that when we die we will spend eternity with Him. That is the main message of the Gospel! There is a lot more in the Gospels about the life of Jesus and what He did while He was here on Earth (later after He resurrected He ascended to heaven). And I would highly recommend reading them! Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are considered the 4 gospels. Each of them share the same message but from unique points of view as they are written by 4 different disciples. The video that the channel recommended is probably really good as well and it’s definitely possible that I’m forgetting something important but I hope this helps answer your question!
Gospel = good news. That God loves us so much, He sent His Son to show us how to live as children of God, and suffered and died for our forgiveness so we can live freely and love unconditionally.
It was very strange to hear that Japanese consider themselves non-religious. There are those shrines/temples all over the place. (Which are actually so pretty.) People do that ritual of hand and mouth washing. I've seen videos of areas where people hang little pieces of paper (or something) with prayers written on them. Why do people say they are not religious when they clearly are? In this sense, they are more publicly religious than many people in America!
Japanese people’s prayers at temples, shrines, etc. have sometimes struck me as similar to making a wish on a star, or after blowing out the candles on a birthday cake. We wouldn’t call those things religious, and they often don’t think of themselves as religious either. You make a wish when you blow out the candles because that’s “what is done”, not out of faith and devotion.
Yes. You can give through the Mustard Seed network which is the mission group he is with. Their church plant mission/goal to send and create church plants is a big thing and totally worth supporting! I had the privilege to serve and work with Chad and several other missionaries in both Osaka and Tokyo last summer.
Please continue Loving Jesus And His Powerful And Unshakable Word, Lives Are Depending On It. Amen ❤❤❤❤
You're doing religious rituals and you never ask yourself why? Or if anyone hears your prayers? You get past childhood into your teen years and you never think about eternity? Not even when you go to your first funeral? That's mind boggling. I was agonizing over such things by the time I got into high school. How can people get to adulthood and neve once wonder WHY you're even getting up in the morning?!
@@infinitymusic5475 I wish I could get inside another person's mind for one day. I often think that I think entirely differently than most of the world. They might as well be aliens. I just don't understand how people function. I was wondering what the purpose of life was by the time I got old enough in childhood to be able to think, "WHY am I going to school?" "WHY do I have to do this and that?" How can you not?!
I would start with just stories with Christian values that would also be reflected in the aesthetics. Think how Tolkien wrote - he didn't directly said 'Christ' but all LOTR is basically w Christian parable.
Japan doesn't need your Hebrew sectarianism, it has its own ancient culture. Fortunately, in the view of pagan, which most Japanese are, one god in the pantheon more or less - does not matter
26:00 "Well, it's an interesting question for the the middle class white American, right?" ? Hope this is not a "woke" Christian channel. 26:13 "I actually feel like I've been able to, as I've been here and seen people I love around the world go through struggles that are race-based or, you know, the history of racial oppression and things like this, like I'm not claiming I get it, but I get it more. " What? Yeah, seems like he's starting with that nonsense. That's as far a I watched.
You should examine yourself and see why mere words trigger you to write such a detailed comment like this. Not everything is a 'woke' thing, even you speaking like this shows that you yourself have swallowed a perspective from someone else that doesn't actually relate to the reality of what woke actually meant historically. I encourage you to examine the kind of content you consume that would lead you to use the word woke in the way it's never meant.
You're pretty uninformed then. Japan is homogenous. They are largely...Japanese with minority populations of Koreans, indigenous populations like the Ainu, and immigrations from places such as the US, China, and the Phillippines. And race/religious struggles are hardly just an American issue. My family is from Pakistan. Christians are there, they are openly discriminated against in ways similar to slavery and segregation here were the USA, and are politically second-class citizens. Christians are no longer officially discriminated against in Japan compared with Pakistan, but the social ostracization, the demand to shut up and keep your head down, the idea that you are hurting your family by choosing Jesus over the Buddhist-Shinto religious system...if Japanese Christians started speaking up about it and demanding that the social discrimination end-the reaction would be the same as calling people "woke" here.
Not Matthew 6:33. That's not how to have eternal life. John 3:16, all of the gospel of John. We're saved by simply believing in Jesus for his sure promise of eternal life.

You ARE a light wherever you are. It's your identity. The seed was planted so I pray that God will continue to draw her to himself
Witness and living by example are often more powerful than talking. With talking, people hear with one ear and let it go through another. You never know what impact can even a small remark have, just something as simple as saying 'yes I'm a Christian and I love God' even if that's the only sentence you're able to say.
I absolutely love it that he says the Word of God is the key. Living and active and able to equip for every task. Bless you brother!
Whoa .. how Holy Spirit is working there is fascinating
Thanks for giving the address I would love to learn more
I couldn't find a church you mentioned in a church information book I have .

Blessings!
This is so nice to see, may the light of the gospel of Christ shine in Japan
Gosh. How beautiful. About the man who read the sermon on the mount to hear the command and want to obey instead of justify sin and what I hope they know is that in their obedience and through Christ they are justified. Just beautiful ❤
Thanks for these... ive realized that im in need of more spiritual growth before i go to Japan as a missionary. Also, Chad's 発音 is 🔥
This awesome! Me and my wife are on a short term missions trip in Okinawa and this was really encouraging
Keep up the great work I love Japan. The food the people the animation, samurai, sumo, etc.
For years i have always said that another brother or sister, regardless of their nationality is family, and finally i hear someone say the same thing, anyone in the faith anywhere is family, and that's one of the beautiful things about Jesus, He makes us all family.
So encouraged by this, Chad! (Praying to be a part of a church plant one day in Japan!🙏)
Thank u team Radical for letting us know more abt Japan missionaries! Arigatou gozaimasu🙏🏼 May God bless ur team abundantly 🙌🏼
That sounds amazing. I am going to research this Japanese Tea Ceremony and see how the gospel can be shared through this.
Thanks for sharing this, will look it up!
Brotha shares the most amazing testimonies ever, and I’m here distracted by the incredible exposure in the window. Must of been tinted?
Very instructive and powerful testimony. Thank you so much. By God's grace I am about to move to Japan as a missionary and this video helped me a lot.
17:46 There's so few Christians because Japan wiped out early Christian movements and banned it for 250 years. Christianity in Japan has basically had to start-up from the ground up.
This was an excellent conversation. As someone living away from my birth country for the sake of the Gospel, I related to many things Chad said.
Honest and great info, thanks guys! Truthfully, however, the ad settings on these videos are super annoying
Prayed! Wisdom is yours in Jesus name, just keep getting stronger in His Word 😊
Interesting, I was just reading Murakami’s book about the gas attacks by Aum cult called Underground. Gives a good insight into the culture in Japan
This is pretty eye opening, I think in Australia we have a bit of that image of “religion”, that it’s harmful and brain washing etc. It’s hard to separate the notion of “religion” from how good and great the gospel is!!
I want to be missionary to Japan.
Yet what this man said was true.
Useless if I'm detached to the source of living, Jesus.
Japan needs more missionaries!
If your called by God to go to Japan, go! If your not connected, get connected to the Vine!
Beautiful and awe inspiring❤
Excellent questions. The answers were ... what should I say ... rather scattered at times. But whatever, Chad radiates devotion to Jesus. God bless him and his wife. 🙏
can you put spanish subtitles please?🥹 i love the job you are doing💙
Click on the little gear/wheel symbol in the bottom right corner of the video. Then click Subtitles. Then click Auto Translate. Go down the list and choose Spanish. I only read/listened to a few lines (because the volume is so low on this video) but it seems to be correct. It does not seem to be the crappy auto captions that TH-cam has. It seems to be actually translated from English to Spanish. Hope that helps.
My husband and I really desire to live in Japan and reach the people there, please pray for us if you can❤

It's of primary importance that salvation through Jesus be preached in Japan.
Japan is a land of beautiful horticulture, but the hearts of the people are hardened and need more cultivation and patience. Luke 8:6
“And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.”
God says: « As long as you work for Me, and you keep doing what I sent you to do, it is My responsibility to pay you and to sustain you »
And keep in mind that He’s the king of nations, gold and silver belong to Him.
It’s the same level of faith Abraham had, portrayed in the following verses, but I believe it takes revelation:
«By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise.»
Hebrews 11:8-9 NIV
Grace to just up and go at God’s command I pray you receive it now in Jesus name 😊🙏.
PS: I also would recommend you to listen to some teachings by Bishop David Oyedepo, a man of God who received this grace and teaches about it very well.

What is gospel?
Can someone explain?
Always hear this word but can't figure it out. The meaning behind it.
@@toristeunebrink5705 the fake story of a fake Jesus.

@@mapinoita279 but once you understand the root of those things, you realize it is a religion.
is there a way to give to his ministry?
Yes. You can give through the Mustard Seed network which is the mission group he is with. Their church plant mission/goal to send and create church plants is a big thing and totally worth supporting!

"WHY do I have to do this and that?" How can you not?!

We must think things over as it guides us to the truth.
Christianity is growing where people are desperate and or live in fear/poverty and declining everywhere else. Still declining overall at a rapid pace.
I honestly think if Christian’s made Christian anime to point people to Christ it would really really spread the gospel
Dude you're so right!
I would start with just stories with Christian values that would also be reflected in the aesthetics.

Japan doesn't need your Hebrew sectarianism, it has its own ancient culture. Fortunately, in the view of pagan, which most Japanese are, one god in the pantheon more or less - does not matter
Hmmm so that's the pastor/evangelizer mindset. 🤔

"Well, it's an interesting question for the the middle class white American, right?"

Hope this is not a "woke" Christian channel.
26:13
"I actually feel like I've been able to, as I've been here and seen people I love around the world go through struggles that are race-based or, you know, the history of racial oppression and things like this, like I'm not claiming I get it, but I get it more. "
What? Yeah, seems like he's starting with that nonsense. That's as far a I watched.
What does this mean? Is he not just explaining how he felt like as a minority in highly homogeneous country like Japan ?
@@nenakott I don't know. I just know (and loathe) the woke buzzwords. Maybe it's not that, but I am not sure.
