I had pieces of memories of me and my sister fighting the giant worm, but I couldn't find out which game it was. Just as I found this, I remembered also fighting The Wall, Cyborg-Crawler, Mecha-Gun, Robo-Biker and Giant Spider. You've helped me put a name to a precious part of my past! Thanks!
Good game. For me, the best Turrican! It should be noted that the programmers have done an excellent job exploring the technical capabilities of the SNES.
Fans of older episodes of the Turrican series like this one less because it's a more straight and linear action game compared to them, but it's not bad by any means, in fact, it's one of the best late-gen titles on the SNES. Factor 5, the "Team B" of Turrican, were quite capable and lasted until the PS3 era. Can I suggest doing Rendering Ranger in the future? It's made by the "Team A" (Manfred Trenz and Rainbow Arts) and for some stupid odd reasons it ended up being released only in Japan.
Rendering Ranger R2 released only in Japan because it was a test launch to see if the game would sell well enough in Japan to warrant a US release. It bombed miserably.
This game is kind of like Resident Evil 4, is not like the previous games and is understandable if some don't like it for that, but for what it is, it's really solid.
@@oscarzxn4067 It's RE5 & 6 that played like linear action games. RE4 was still actn/adv. What's with this internet-nerd revisionist history about RE4? RE4 was loved when it came out. The biggest controversy was angering Shinji Mikami coz Capcom ported it to PS2. The Classic RE games were marketed as action games & every RE game on the PS2, except for the Outbreaks were action.
@@BoozeAholic RE4 is definitely less action focused than 5 and 6, but is obvious that the surivival aspect and exploration is toned downed significnatly next to the previous games in favor to the action. In that way you can say that Super Turrican 2 still has some exploration aspect and the moment to moment action is just like the previous Turrican games.

It's not funny. It's intended. But if you live in a region where the Sega Mega Drive was called by that "Genesis" name, then the point is totally lost obviously.

It must have been incredibly frustrating to not get damaged at all in the jaw fight by those acid droplets. Good job as always!
This game looks really amazing. And it has a killer atmosphere! I'm a big fan of Turrican 1, 2 and Rendering Ranger R2.

That song is my favorite in the game too, and I also think it sounds damn good for the SNES. Honestly every part of this game is top notch imo.
Righteously, my boy!
2:46 To quote the abridged series How To Be An Adventurer, “THAT’S a Level Ten Nope!”
that last boss looks like a Gunstar heroes or contra hard corps boss. really cool
A Giant Worm Monster from Star Wars
The farthest I've made it in this game was the water maze.
Eu amo esse jogo 😍
I like to watch this guy play.
This is the most Japanese-looking non-Japanese game ever. For decades i didn't know it was German developed.
This game looks amazing
funny that mega turrican is for Genesis and super is for the snes

Jumping animation is funny.
I'm curious - why did you keep dismounting the bike in the stingray fight?
You are forced to by the stingray - he is knocking you out of it.
Looks like pepsiman has had enough.
Wrong King how funny, because Bren McGuire (the character in-game) really looks like Pepsiman.
Is it RTD to I hear at 8 minutes and 30 seconds
It should of been a super turrican 3 then
Yay new bideo

Wait, so the time limit doesn't kill you when it runs out?
It does.
@@Nathan-rb3qp How does it kill you if it runs out?
@@DBoy2029 It's just video game logic.
@@Nathan-rb3qp Well, for some reason, running out of time isn't killing the hero here.
