I wonder if Nick really understands how much he has made UT fans follow his work after the rant last year. He's must see TV for me when I see anything with him pop up in my feed. He's a great interview and at what he does. He knows UK inside and out for sure. #GBO #VFL
You got to understand Ky’s position on Tennessee. We are the crown jewel of college basketball. banners hanging all over the place, and we cant beat a never been good at anything school like Tennessee. A school which has a fandom that acts like they’re a perennial powerhouse on the order of Bama or Georgia when they’ve never been anywhere near that good at anything.
I'm so happy with the fight they put up last night especially when everyone myself included thought we were going to loose by 30 😅 but even so with 4 more top 10 teams on the schedule the best we can hope for is 6-6 probably 5-7 but that's just how tough the SEC is. The other questions if you look at the Job Stoops has done from top to bottom with what he took over with from joker he's done a great job period. But if UK is serious about getting to UG, Bama level or a solid 8 - 10 win season team who could we hire that would actually take the job and will stick around for 10+ years like Stoops did because real talk UK is not a destination job its just not. Saban and Urban Meyer are the only 2 that could probably do it and I'd give us a -1000% chance we could hire either 😅. Realistically were going to have to find a young guy who's unknown and can be the next great coach.
Every team has injuries but every year injuries happen to us twice as much as any other team. I've always heard a bad conditioned team has alot of injuries. We never look focused on the game at hand. Players look confused we had back to back illegal formations. How does that happen. I've never seen a pop Warner team have back to back illegal formation penalties. We never look good in the first half. What is really going on with this program. Why is there so many coaches from one small city in ohio. I think stoops has stopped getting up and coming coaches and only hires Youngstown Ohio guys. You can't tell me his brother is a sec caliber coach. We need a coach to with the fire in his eyes and someone who can adapt to nil and the transfer portal. Brohm has done a great job at Louisville. They are about to pass Kentucky up.
Whatup SEC Mike & Nick I hate to be negative but Kentucky ain't gonna be able to compete with Georgia they on a different level and I'm not trying to pour salt in the wound with that statement but Georgia's gonna Smoke Kentucky tomorrow 💯! GB🍊🏈

I don’t know why on earth people at Kentucky are so ready to get rid of Mark stoops. He made the program the best it’s ever been. From a Tennessee fan, I can say that if y’all lose stoops, y’all are gonna go right back down to the gutter of the SEC. We got rid of Fulmer and thought we could improve. Spent the next 20 years wandering in the damn wilderness.
I totally agree Nick, the coaches had no answers for South Carolina.. that is Stoops responsibility, then to lie to you about the offensive line pre-season.. unacceptable! Stoops should be gone, since last years A&M debacle! If it were up to me, I would get us in the ACC, a good conference, one in which with a good coach we could contend for the championship three years down the road and going forward.. Just sayin!!
He chased the A&M job this off-season, he obviously wanted that more than remaining the UK HC. A coach pursuing another HC job and not getting it should be grounds for immediate termination IMO.
Is Kentucky horrible or does Carolina have lightning in a bottle on that defense? I suspect that Kentucky is not as bad as Carolina’s D made them look this past Saturday. It’s rare air for any defense to host two of the best defensive ends in all of College Football. Thats a game changer. I very much doubt that Brock will face that kind of pressure vs anyone from here on out.
I disagree Brock & Kentucky gonna get that much pressure tomorrow against Georgia and also when they come to Knoxville to play Tennessee they gonna get that much pressure from Tennessee Dline & LB's as well 💯! GB 🍊🏈
@@EricBJones believe it when I see it. I don’t think suddenly KY is horrible. They were double digit favorites at home. Certainly there Oline is not great but it seems highly unlikely that Stoops and Co will fail to shore up their pass protection
@@Ryan-mx2kr, based on your optimism or actual events? UGA and UT have excellent players in many positions but the one unit at SC that is close to UGA or UT quality this season is the DL. We still won’t win games because SC is a body builder with only one fully developed muscle. And this DL at SC is a one season thing because a lot of the talent will leave at the end of the season.
Kentucky would do well for themselves if they could drop their ego and just move to the ACC. They were always a basketball school in a football conference. 7-5 with a bowl game is all I see for Kentucky the next 10 years, in the ACC they could get into a conference championship game. Firing Mark Stoops isn’t the answer, this put the next coach under pressure if he can’t win no more than 7 games. Are they really expecting a Championship in Kentucky?
@@JWCFB OK, take out the wins over Vandy, Florida, South Carolina and Kentucky the lower tier of the SEC. Georgia Tech and Boston College programs are rising fast because they hired excellent coaches so I don't think Kentucky would contend for a Championship in the ACC. In 11 years Stoops has only had 2 wins against teams that had a 500 record or better in SEC play. Because of Cam Ward, I agree with Greg McElroy, Miami is a threat to go far in the playoffs. As I posted below Stoops beats cupcakes, that's how he gets his wins and you add that to his 12 years of longevity and that's how he has more wins than any coach in Kentucky history. Here's how he gets his wins, last year UKs first 4 wins were against Ball State, Eastern Kentucky (FCS), Akron, and Vanderbilt, so now they get ranked in the top 25 and all they have to do is beat 1 SEC School and Louisville and they get in a Bowl game. They scheduled this way every year. See Kentucky was in the SEC East, the weaker of the 2 SEC Divisions so they got to play Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Missouri (who only recently got good), Florida, or their locked in annual opponent from the SEC West was Mississippi State who was a SEC West Cellar Dweller or close to it. So UK just needed 1 other SEC win than Vanderbilt and to beat Louisville or just win 2 SEC games and you can lose to Louisville and you got 6 wins and your Bowl eligible. One year recently the NCAA had an odd number of schools get 6 wins so they let Kentucky play with only 5 wins to fill that slot. So all of this talk about how Stoops is the winningest coach and has been to 8 straight bowl games is really not impressive if you consider that 84 teams make a Bowl game every year. Things are gonna get much tougher for Stoops now that the SEC has done away with Divisions. In the new SEC schedule rotation Kentucky will have to play all 16 teams in a 2 year span and the next 2 years you will start over and if you played that school at home then you will now have to play them at their place and vice - versa. Stoops will now play all those tougher schools that were in the SEC West as well as Texas and Oklahoma. I don't know this for sure because it's too early but from the 2 games I've watched I suspect Stoops has hired a dud OC in Bush Hamden but time will tell. With no more being in the same Division as Georgia the goal for Kentucky should be Atlanta. If it's not, then why are they playing? The fans there really need to raise their expectations. I know, I've lived in Kentucky 64 years. All these folks ever wanna talk about 24/7 365 is basketball. I'm just the opposite, I follow CFB 24/7 365.
