After watching plenty of Klaus and Caroline scenes, I think the writers did a great job. It wasn’t a usually innocent girl falls for bad boy situation, Caroline doesn’t just see good in Klaus but actually stands up to him and the push/shove he needed to change.
It was a thin line, but the Vampire Diaries and the Originals managed to walk it.
They had the best chemistry✨
I like that Caroline pointed out how at the beginning it was all new, and exciting, plus, he was the bad boy but at the same time saying that she was always on edge, nervous, and terrified. Those are not supposed to be the feelings of love. Those are lust. It doesn't make those feelings unreal... but they grew into something else. In the end, Caroline still loves him. Unfortunately, we can only have this dream of them having their happy ending in our own minds... I don't think a remake will do. Honestly, these two actors are amazing.

There are plenty opportunities to create a reboot of this series & make Klaroline happen for example @ 13:32 when Klaus explains that there is a way for him to have everything but he needs time so theres a perfect point to pick up the story again. Then there's the promise Klaus makes saying that he will be her last love however long it takes so come on Julie make it happen & redeem yourself.
Staroline was an honest and great couple BUUUUUT…Klaroline is mysterious and they have chemistry and even in originals I can tell I don’t know why they were never together but it makes sense why they weren’t but I wish they were😢

Honestly the biggest reason why i like the Originals over the Vampire Diaries is because of there being no Elena! Still wish that at the very least Bonnie was brought over to that series. She would have been better in the Originals than in whatever was S5 onwards Vampire Diaries.
I remember watching S5 when she decided to take over writing the whole season , she changed the dinamic of The Originals comparing to S1 till S4 and i hated everybit of season 5 , Hailey died in a lame way against an ordinary vampire. , elijah being useless , a magical discovery of " The last white oak stake " , how klaus and elijah died , klaroline didn't happen , i was like ughhhhhh

Julie was obsessed with the actor that played Damion. Even in interviews she gushes over him saying he was so gorgeous when she met him she couldn't believe it blah blah so yeah hence she pushed the whining Delena story.

Theres really amazing fanfics / online stories out there, one being "Rumour has it" Klaroline story with about 13 long long chapters that's an amazing read and the way they speak sounds so authentically themselves that you'll really hear their voices. It's great stuff. And no I didn't write it xD (it does have a really cool trailer on TH-cam though, the author is also video editor)

I don't care what people say her and klaus were end game. I feel like her and Stefan was rushed and should've just been friends. Stefan from the very start only had eyes for Elena. I think Stefan belonged with Valerie.
The Stefan thing NEVER made sense. They seemed more miserable together than happy. If anything, he smiled/laughed waaaay more with his best friend Lexi in the short scenes she had. Him and Caroline had no chemistry.
