I have been a patient of Vinita Mody on and off (weird body, active body). She has been an amazing therapist who treats the whole body, who does not just treat the pain or issue that is presented. I have watched her develop this ICM and have benefitted from it myself. She is the real deal - always thinking and always working to better herself and her patient's condition

Vinita is an amazing therapist. As a patient, she had a magical awareness pinpointing my issues as if she had Xray vision. I haven't found a PT with comparable expertise since leaving NYC. I miss you, Vinita!

After a severe proximal humerus fracture/shoulder injury several years ago, I started physical therapy with Vinita Mody (once cleared for PT by my ortho). On day one I could not lift my arm. At all. Zero. By the end, my orthopedist, who is chair of the orthopedics department at one of the major NYC hospitals, said my recovery was in the top 3% of expected outcomes, even for patients who had post-injury surgery (which I did not). Part of my therapy included early applications of ICT methods, as appropriate to my particular injury and conditions. Ms. Mody is a caring, committed medical practitioner with remarkable skills and proven results. As a layman, her technique descriptions may sound a bit oddball to me; as a patient, she gave me back my arm.

Ischemic conditioning is a technique used and tested in Cardiac surgery for over 30+ years... I find it so awkward to hear her saying she discovered it or developed the technique, what a joke to other MPT and Doctors

Is this similar to novel blood flow restrictions therapy?

What an elegant and clever idea! Can we get this woman into a textbook and her technique standardized across all PT programs please?
