    This is a really cool tent. Wonder if they offer it in a combo with a pipe stove? Wonser if headers (car exhaust) hear wrap works with those pipes? What are you using, if not? Dis it come with the stove? Thanks ahead for your time responding (if you do!). :)
    I may need to add this to my 'list' of needed survival gear. Would be amazing in Michigan here to dissapear in the UP if needed, and I m sure there are ways to hide the smoke from the stove utilizing snow tunnels akin to what the Viet Kong did in 'Nam, but ofc with snow/brushes vs. muddy tunnels and such, lol. Its something Id use as an excuse to try the gear out and go camping 😂🤣

    I would like to get a taller camping tent for hot camping. Most of my tents are for mountaineering and built for high winds we will encounter on the side of a mountain. I don't think I would cut a stove sleeve in any of my tents. If I bought one that was purposed to be a hot tent, then no problem.
    I like to camp in the offseason when your normal campers are nowhere in sight. Stormy weather and cold is what I need to deal with. Sometimes we get snow. I will pitch one of my mountaineering tents out in the snow and sleep outside for as many nights as we have snow. My wife thinks I am stupid, but it is still fun for me.
    I have been looking at Eskimo tents and even wanting to get a portable stove I can pack into an area I might build a small secret hut, so when I hike out I can keep the inside warm.
    How does the tent do with rain and wind? I have been figuring out the different fabrics they use, but wondering how well the insulation they use works in retaining heat inside.

      Tent works great in wind and rain, so happy I got The insulated one, it’s crazy how it holds heat and how fast it heats up, i’ve been in -35 and in the tent with no shirt on sweating, it is a great set up

      What kind of heaters do you use in yours? I am trying to stay electric but I want fast Heat and the ability to turn it off. Mr. Buddy propane heaters are ok but I’ve gone through 2 of them because they won’t light after storing them for the summer.

    Question… I love your setup. I put up an Eskimo Quickfish 3i and just have an electric heater inside for quick on off.
    We are getting our first snow right now and with just about what you have on top of yours, mine collapsed. Thankfully nobody was in it. Thoughts on how to prevent this? I can’t clear snow all night.

      People usually get a pole or cut a stick to the length of the height of the shelter. Put it in the centre of your shaft where all your poles meet in the middle, thanks for watching and I hope this helps, please like and subscribe. Also check out Chuck porter, he has lots of ideas and ice shelter videos that might help

    Did you make the stove jack or did you buy one that was already made the correct size to velcro in place

    • @clarkesoutdooradventures
      @clarkesoutdooradventures  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I got the stove jack on Amazon and Velcro strips . Then I staple the Velcro strips on tent and stove jack to line up. Thanks for watching! Lots of videos coming soon with hot tenting and ice fishing
