As a K9 handler in Iraq, This hit home. My service Dog, Bogie gave his life protecting me. I will never forget his sacrifice. I now have a GSD named Halo. He is my soul.

I just happen to watch this movie for the first time after work today never being in service however, I know many people that have and are my cousin his brother was a canine handler. I’m not sure for what division but I think at this point doesn’t the animal live with the handler now full-time.?!
That "relationship" between animals & humans - portrayed on point 110% - & the 22 vets/day is why I'm finishing grad school. The intentional goal is to start an active study on veteran's PTSD & restore quality of life. TYVM Megan & all the current service members!
