Tom Van Berg: Claiming Crown a winner (as was he) at Churchill Downs

OK, so Tom Van Berg's view might be a bit influenced by the fact that the Louisville-based trainer won two Claiming Crown races in 2022 when the eight-race event was at Churchill Downs for the first time. But Van Berg thinks it's more than sentiment that makes the home of the Kentucky Derby the ideal venue for celebrating horse racing's blue-collar warriors.
