A great idea for homeowners would be to create sinking fund for home repairs and maintenance similar to the concept of "condo fees" sp that when stuff happens they can dip into the reserve fund. All things being equal a home starts becoming a money pit around the 15 year mark ( roofing, a/c, water heater, furnance, eavestroughts)

They actually have this thing called a home equity line of credit where you can take out more debt to fund your home 😭 people often do it and it can be a smart strategy when done right

For some people purchasing a home is a good decision. For others, not so much.
Your rent + utility will always be your maximum spend while your mortgage will be your minimum spend. Surprising costs can crop up as a home owner. Your video just re-emphasizes my thoughts.
