In 2012 Hungarian open,I took a topspining photo to zhang jike to sign it . I liked his reaction ,he sad me it's COOL !!!! When I asked him ... T- SHIRT ??? Then he smiled ! Great player ! Since then his dedicated photo is in frame, and I keep it on my wall .
Masterpiece of Zhang Jike, started slow, swallowed the first 2 loses, upped a level and beat Wang Hao who is obviously very on form. It's not down to luck in this game but Zhang Jike really showed once again how he could adapt match situations and pressure quickly and effectively. Still a little too cocky in the attitude in my opinion, but who cares anymore.
China is my homeland! I will always support our ping pong team!

@TheTTstudio i asked a chinese guy and he said that "cho" means nothing...its just a word to push ureself to be more motivated

Thank you for releasing the final, ttprovider! I was getting desperate not to see this. I know I can see that on ITTtv but I prefer watching excerpts rather than the whole match. ZJK proves that he is currently the best in term of mental strengh, with an awesome technique on both side!

There was quite the speculation of Zhang being a cocky player and such, I never really believed it...but not it is starting to dawn on me that he might be a little too intense for the Table Tennis scene. Good match, thanks!

@Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh Mmm Wang has only won world cup 3 times(last year against Zhang Jike), world champion 2009 and have had the longest streak as #1 in the world rankings.
@vonGleichenT it's actually Tibetan Mastiff. If you search it, it's the fiercest and most expensive dog in the whole world haha
It's a shame that Wang Hao can't keep his confident before the end of 3rd game. Just see how different between game 1 and game 4 Wang played.
Wang Hao stayed close to table in the first 2 games then moved away in the following games. Why?

@Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh Kind of hard to be the eternal number two when you've won 1 WTTC and 3 World Cups. He has lost 2 Olympic finals, 1 WTTC final and 3 World Cups, so he's slightly more prone to lose than win a big final. But hardly an "eternal loser".
If Ma Long was there, what could be the chance for Zhang to win?

Wang Hao has a real problem with psychology... He can never convert a win against a stronger opponent than him. Zhang Jike played really bad the two first sets and in the 3rd also! He had to win this one! Anyway, I'm really happy for Zhang Jike!
@threefifteeny Yeah I hear you, thats a good point. I also get serious when I play but these guys seem to rub it into the other player when they win a point, but then again I am not playing for the world cup!
Fuck man...... it seems wang hao has no luck... he is a ton better than the rest but he gets no luck, hes always no.2.... ALWAYS... poor guy :( if only he had a bit of luck he would always be no.1

Ma Long is not eternal number 2, he's the eternal number 3 (or eternal bronze medalist). 2 bronze medals in WTTC singles, 2 World Cup Bronze. Never even been in the final of a major international tournament.

@clalalalalalive yeah, i really don't mind about his "ärrogance", as most people say. cuz he has something to be arrogant about. he got 2 World Titles so fast! He's the best when it comes to mentality and yes he works better under pressure

@magerapstar when they're playing they need to be serious so we can't blame them. but after all the games, they're good friends and they train together.. athletes have different personalities and, right now, it's a good thing that we can see much emotions from Chinese players than before...
@Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh WH has a world title. (Ma Lin has a gold medal.) Ma Long is the eternal no2 right now. =D
What you don't see in this short version of the match is how manny points Zhang has won with his pendulum service aimed at Wang's forehand! He was completly thrown off by this service, just as Wang Liqin was at the WTTC in Rotterdam. It is a very effective service, I use it since I saw Zhang doing it, but it doesn't work always as good... Great upload, as always!

Zhang Jike is so brilliant. When he's ready to pull out the stops, he pulls out the stops. He knows how to screw with your brain so fast just with good attacks and simply unparalleled aiming.
When Zhang Jike steps up to the table, there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
