India la oru car many years ooduranga, So ippadi ooduna car business panna mudiyathu nu, Diesel cars ah stop panranga. Honda Elevate la oru MT diesel option irunthiruntha, neega hybrid car refer pannuveengala or diesel car ah refer pannuveengala.

Excellent review from MW. Kudos!! I'm a strong proponent of Diesel cars. I was driving a swift diesel earlier for more than a decade and then upgraded to Creta Diesel two yrs back. I absolutely have no qualms about the fuel economy I get while driving my Creta (17 -19 kms in city & 22-24 kms in highway). This review will certainly help those who are planning to consider hybrid cars as an option just in case diesel cars get phased out..
Service cost for battery/replacement should also be included.
And battery degradation over time which leads to drop in fuel efficiency
@@gokulbala3096 yes, but I think hybrid is just offsetting inexperienced drivers driving which obviously reduces fuel efficiency.. experienced drivers know when to brake when they expect traffic ahead or when to accelerate etc... So the use of hybrid battery will be little there. An inexperienced driver will brake suddenly causing regen braking for charging the battery etc., They don't understand how torque and power works in a car...
Hybrid batteries are designed to last the life of the vehicle.

NO, it dose not has any self start motor separately , it has intelligent starter and generator means it has work as an a generator and starter motor.

So running cost difference is approx ₹1/km. If avg running per year is 15,000 to 20,000 km per year we save only ₹20,000 per year which is not a big saving plus we need to see the service cost and battery replacement cost.

Seems the ⛽️ cost is almost same for both cars. 14.6 lt. ptrl= 1503 for hybrid and 16.7 lt. diesel = 1586. Hybrid cars cost is high compare with diesel engine cars. Like 5 to 7 lak difference is there if you compare nexon diesel top model and vitarra top model.
