He could come in from two weeks on the trail without a spek of dirt on him. His boots were allways shined, and he spoke perfect english. Mothers thought he was a good influence, so Mom let me have a Lone Ranger outfit back in 1963. Silver cap gun & plastic gun belt, white hat, and the mask. Everything sold in one package, millions of kids had a Lone Ranger outfit.

Silver is clearly far too bright to ever drink poison. 😄

Stanley Andrews was ‘The Old Ranger’ on early Death Valley Days episodes. These great shows take me back to a happy childhood.

Hope the woke crowd doesn't discover the Lone Ranger because they'd probably find something they consider racist about it. The Lone Ranger and Tonto were my heroes as a kid. They always did what was right and beat the bad guys. Loved his horse Silver, and also Scout. The Lone Ranger never missed a shot, but never killed anyone.

On the contrary, this is back when the "western hero" was a man of principle and morality, a far stretch from the clowns who often parade around with cowboy hats these days. Today, Lone Ranger would probably be considered a Communist.
