I saw an article mentioning Savannah G kept pressing Kelly R with the Beyonce topic and was unprofessional about it. When I actually watched this clip from end to end, the over 4 minute interview only had about 10 seconds of Beyonce reference. This was only after Savannah asked Kelly about her own latest music projects & developments and the Beyonce question came up after Kelly decided to not give details about her own musical project. Also, this was after they spent over 3 minutes covering her latest show. So, what is so unprofessional about the way Savannah brought up Beyonce? After all, this is how Kelly first came up the entertainment industry, she will forever be tied to Destiny's Child. No different from someone asking about your hometown after you left home.
She shut the BEYONCE question down fast 😂😂😂😂

I don’t know why I feel like it is probably in there but they still try to bring it up. Like the lady used the destiny’s child thing as an entering wedge for bringing up Beyoncé. That’s what they do with Kelly even though they could very well highlight her solo career accomplishments. Her tone and everything changed after she was asked that question.

The interview was doing well until the last few minutes. Savannah, I know you are just doing what the producers tell you - but come on - this is about Kelly! So not cool to pry about Beyonce, it's unfair to Kelly who was there to promote her upcoming film - keep it at that! Kelly looked absolutely stunning and amazing per usual!

She’s (Savannah) such a bad interviewer. She talks over the guests, yells, and never reads the room. This is why Good Morning America (GMA) is #1 now and no longer Today. They need to revamp all the hosts starting with getting rid of Savannah first, Craig Melvin 2nd.
She shut down that random Beyonce question with such grace and quick wit. Kelly is her own person with her own career, why bring up Beyoncé’s music during an interview about Kelly’s new show…and the fact that Samatha tried to hide her agenda by trying to prime Kelly by asking if she had any new music coming out is just rude. No wonder kelly didn’t stay for more of this crap.

I'm came to see what all of the fuss was about regarding Kelly being asked about Beyonce. Seriously Folks!!! I don't see any issue wiht Savannah asking Kelly about Beyonce who were singing partners for years in Destiny's Child. Savannah was respectful, and in no way out of line for asking the questons. It tied in with her previous clip of Kelly singing nearly 25 years ago at the Today show with Destiny's Child. The questions may have been awkward for Kelly because she was asked about Beyonce's new country songs, and the word out is people aren't really fond of the songs that were released. So, Kelly may feel the same way but she cannot say it so she kept it short and sweet. Or she may have had a falling out with Beyonce and doesn't want to speak on her. I've seen Justin Timberlake, etc asked about members of his groups when one of them has something special going on. It's normal! People have blown this out of proportion

She is so charming and intelligent, bright mind with incredible achievements profesionally, a hard working superstar in her own right. Can't have another Kelly. Even the speaking voice is memorable. If media would prepare for an interview with her, they can squeeze a lot of valuable information what are truly important about Kelly, her solo career, her persona and her acting. One true journalist would discuss hours with her and be mesmerized of how much did this legend accomplish in 30+ years under the spotflight.
