I recommend to NEVER put eggs in microwave in any shape or form.
Ann Reardon from How to Cook That make a video on it and how dangerous it can be. The egg ALWAYS explode whether it is inside of the shell, outside of it, or even when hard-boiled. Sometime there is a delay to the explosion. So if you take it out, it can explode while you are holding it and burn you.

I think I'm the most excited about the peeling hard-boiled eggs underwater hack. I'm like you and get nail gouges in my eggs. They are rarely pretty. A friend had told me to add a 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda into the boiling water, so I tried this over the 4th weekend when I made both potato salad and deviled eggs. While about half of my eggs peeled nicely, the other half did not. I will DEFINITELY have to try this!

Did you shock them with ice water as soon as they came out of the boiling water?
Its helped me peel without the chunks coming out. My theory is that it shocks the egg inside to pull away from the shell but I have no clue if thats actually true haha.

Best way to peel ginger imo is a potato peeler. I've tried the spoon but I think it's a bit slow and crummy. And bonus - with the little eye hook/cutter of the peeler you can get into all the crannies as well (or just break off pieces of ginger and peel them separately.) IDK why everyone's going on about spoons with ginger and not potato peelers.

Ro! I love your videos!! I have a tip for you though. I’ve made the Oreo mug cake a million times successfully and I couldn’t help but notice that when you mixed it you put way to much milk. Try to make it 2 parts Oreos and 1 part milk. You will know when it is more of a paste rather than a soup. Also put in the microwave for like 2-3 minutes and then add more time if needed. You can even put a whole Oreo in the middle to make it even more fun! Add some whipped cream and enjoy!!! You should try it again! You won’t be disappointed! If you see this please try it and maybe even make a YT shorts doing it! It would make my day! Thanks for making such great videossss!!! I hope you see this! ❤️❤️❤️

With the oreo one, it TOTALLY works. I usually do 3 oreos, with a TEENY bit of milk so it does work!

For the myth about throwing the pasta at the wall, ur supposed to throw one noodle at the wall to see if it sticks, we do it all the time

Ya Rosanna I was so excited you were trying the mug cake until you out like a gallon of milk so what I would recommend is crushing the redos and put as much milk until it turns into a paste (not very much) and then pop it into the microwave for a minute or so

For the oreo, mug cake try 4 oreo cookies without the cream, then crush and add a quarter to a half cup of milk, and you can add a whole oreo in the center! Cook for 30 sec intervals.

Here's how i make oreo mug cakes
    1. use ONLY THE COOKIE PART of the oreo, chop them up
    2. add milk depending on how many cookies you use.
    3. let the oreos soak up the milk and the mash them until they create a batter
    4. microwave for 3 minutes
Note: You can use the cream as a frosting for your mug cake

The wooden spoon works when you're simmering something that contains dairy. It can buy you more time to turn down the heat if it suddenly starts boiling.

I have used both the wooden spoon and the pasta on the wall tricks. A single Noodle sticks when it's ready, not and handful. And the spoon doesn't so much hold down boiling water, but the foam specifically.

When I worked in a deli, we used to use the two plate trick (except in our case, it was two deli container lids) all the time to cut grapes to put in chicken salad! I feel like the problem is that the plates are too big. The lids were the perfect size.

Love you Ro these were so fun to watch! But a few corrections to help! The spaghetti noodle thing is you throw 1 noodle at the wall, not a whole handful to the ceiling lol 1 is actually very accurate with that, I've seen it work time and time again, throwing a whole clump is too heavy for anything to stick, and the ceiling thing makes it impossible to stick even more because gravity is making things worse. The tomato cutting thing does work, the claim that it was faster is correct, it never said anything about them being perfect cuts, and your cuts looked fine! Sure it may not be easy at first but I'm sure there may be a learning curve for clumsy people like us :) and just like some of the other people here said, use just a little bit of milk so it's batter consistency and you're golden!

I think they key with the spaghetti is against the WALL - I’ve never heard to throw it on the ceiling - gravity is working against you! Lol

  • @averywilson6814
    @averywilson6814 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

For the noodles only throw abt one or two at a time so the whole noodle can stick. Because if you throw a lot then some of the noodles won’t touch the ceiling and pull the other noodles down.
