It was lovely to see you again. For what it’s worth I’m glad you don’t have a load of photos from your phone to share. I trust that means you were able to be present in every sense on Sam’s day. I’m sorry the medication is taking a toll but hopefully will do its job. I’m a praying person so will pray for you in the coming months as you navigate so very much. I’m looking forward to your Lost Mojo sock release. I’m so glad your we so kind about Kelly, I find her so genuine. And lastly, remember as you move forward from Sam’s wedding that it is a big life change internally even if nothing much has changed on the outside. After the first of my three daughter’s wedding I was kind of in a funk and it took me a bit to figure out why.

Yes! My second ever shawl I blocked that way. Outside on the clothesline with extra clothes pins along the bottom edge. I really don't have a good place to lay large projects flat for blocking and drying.

Life is also exceptionally busy here so I can relate to what you’re going through but thank you for making the time to record. It sounds like the wedding went off beautifully and I’m glad you chose to take off your podcaster hat and just take it all in. I am currently in the midst of Jethro and enjoying it immensely. I am an infrequent crocheter and it and another crochet project have breathed some fresh air into my making so maybe it will do the same for yours. Welcome back, Nancy! Your hard work paid off, Sam’s wedding looks amazing and your daughter is a very beautiful bride. I teamed up too thinking of my daughter’s weddings and remembering all the work in the heat of summer and the exhaustion at the end, but the happiness too at being there for our kids big days. It’s 31 degrees in BC today, so low 20’s sounds lovely. I too got more than half way through an Agave in cotton linen before realizing that I added incorrectly and was definitely going to run out of yarn -dang it-and I was really loving it. Tried again with a tank top but found my gauge was off- sigh. Ripped it back again and now I have packed it away as it’s September today- it will wait till next year.

I'm grateful, right now, that it is just one for us 😆 It was beautiful and I'm happy we did it the way we did, but I'm in no hurry to do it again. I am hopeful our 30+ days are done for this year. @@knitsiphappy yup! Two sons, three daughters- lots of weddings, although a surprise wedding (all the fun and none of the work) and one elopement to Santorini reduced the workload! It will be grandchildren’s weddings- the first is next August, but. Ana will be able to just show up and enjoy! It will be fun! I love the joy surrounding wedding celebrations- it makes it all worthwhile.

It was lovely to see you again. For what it’s worth I’m glad you don’t have a load of photos from your phone to share. I trust that means you were able to be present in every sense on Sam’s day. I’m sorry the medication is taking a toll but hopefully will do its job. I’m a praying person so will pray for you in the coming months as you navigate so very much. I’m looking forward to your Lost Mojo sock release. I’m so glad your we so kind about Kelly, I find her so genuine. And lastly, remember as you move forward from Sam’s wedding that it is a big life change internally even if nothing much has changed on the outside. After the first of my three daughter’s wedding I was kind of in a funk and it took me a bit to figure out why.

Yes! My second ever shawl I blocked that way. Outside on the clothesline with extra clothes pins along the bottom edge. I really don't have a good place to lay large projects flat for blocking and drying.

Life is also exceptionally busy here so I can relate to what you’re going through but thank you for making the time to record. It sounds like the wedding went off beautifully and I’m glad you chose to take off your podcaster hat and just take it all in. I am currently in the midst of Jethro and enjoying it immensely. I am an infrequent crocheter and it and another crochet project have breathed some fresh air into my making so maybe it will do the same for yours. Be kind to yourself through this stressful time and I look forward to seeing what you’ve been up to the next time you’re able to record.
I hope busy in a good way! It was fun to get back to some sense of normal and coming for a chat was a great way to do it 🤓 I'm way behind on podcast watching, so I'll definitely be over for a look at your Jethro. I'll be looking for pointers as a less experienced crocheter as well.

Welcome back, Nancy! Your hard work paid off, Sam’s wedding looks amazing and your daughter is a very beautiful bride. I teamed up too thinking of my daughter’s weddings and remembering all the work in the heat of summer and the exhaustion at the end, but the happiness too at being there for our kids big days. It’s 31 degrees in BC today, so low 20’s sounds lovely. I too got more than half way through an Agave in cotton linen before realizing that I added incorrectly and was definitely going to run out of yarn -dang it-and I was really loving it. Tried again with a tank top but found my gauge was off- sigh. Ripped it back again and now I have packed it away as it’s September today- it will wait till next year.

@@knitsiphappy yup! Two sons, three daughters- lots of weddings, although a surprise wedding (all the fun and none of the work) and one elopement to Santorini reduced the workload! It will be grandchildren’s weddings- the first is next August, but. Ana will be able to just show up and enjoy! It will be fun! I love the joy surrounding wedding celebrations- it makes it all worthwhile.
