Thank you for the kind words Richard. We love being able to solve issues that our customers have and having ducks and chickens together can be a problem, mostly a moisture problem. Since the front of the duck dipper comes off, the ducks could swim in it, although it's not very big. However, we believe the homeowners plan on having a separate pool for them outside of the run. Thank you for your comments Laura. We decided against using HDPE in the duck house because they will nest and lay in there and it will be very slippery for them, even with bedding. The doors do hinge out to sweep out the duck house. Thanks for watching.
Just a thought and I may be wrong. If you doing concrete runner bases, I don't see a need for the predator wire. Usually here in Louisiana we will do footings at least 18" deep in hard clay, and I know up north due to the freeze line you have to do deeper footings. I just can't see a fox, coyote, wolf digging 18" or deeper to get underneath.
I've watched several of your videos. You've recommended getting a carabiner in just about every one. If I was paying what I'm assuming is a pretty penny for one of these, it damn well better come with a couple..lol. I understand the cost in this quality of workmanship..I really do. We do usually give carabiners to our custom coop customers if we have them. (there is so many moving parts that goes into a custom install) We also are making these videos for everyone, so the advice to put on a carabiner is for the audience as well as the customer. Love the idea of branding our own carabiners. We're so busy building coops to concentrate on creating swag. But maybe we need to. Thanks for watching and subscribing.
@@CarolinaCoopsVideos As a sales promo I can see you mentioning in the videos that you provide, as a courtesy, carabiners to ensure no tampering of the latches. This is just amazing ! I hope to have you build me one within the next year. On the run, is there a reason that the sidewalls and door can't be taller ? I really would want them high enough that tall people don't have to duck. I'd love having the barrel waterer, but not really needing the duck accommodations.
We have made the side walls taller than 6' for people, but the wider the coop, the higher the peak. The reason 6' works for us is that it allows nearly most people to walk in comfortably and there is a domino affect when we change one thing in the building of the coop that ends up effecting all the others, so 6' walls is what works best, but again, anything can be customized. Thanks for your comments.
It all looks wonderful but 1) how would you keep the pipes from being blocked with dirt or any debris? 2) how is roof gutter water clean enough for chickens to drink?
1. You can keep the pipes from being blocked with screen, the same way you keep any gutter from being clogged. 2. A Chickens digestive system is not the same as ours. A chicken's body is constantly challenged by bacteria that cause diseases in their environment. Their body will build up an immunity.
Isn’t it cruel to not let the ducks swim? They are made for it. I’d hope their whole life isn’t that they can’t ever swim. Hopefully they get out of that coop since she doesn’t sound like she intends to let the chickens out.

Awesome
Thank you.
Expensive hobby.
The duck box is sweet just wish the wood was covered with poly carbonate too and use a side hinge on outer wall to swing open for easy sweep out cleaning couple extra bucks would be amazing!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful coop. You guys take great pride in your coops.
Thank you. We really do, we know our customers will have this for a lifetime and we love what we do!
I've watched several of your videos. You've recommended getting a carabiner in just about every one. If I was paying what I'm assuming is a pretty penny for one of these, it damn well better come with a couple..lol. I understand the cost in this quality of workmanship..I really do. From what I've seen in your videos, you build a very high end, quality product! Throw these ppl a bone and give em a few beeners!! Hell, you could even get some made up with your company name on them..just a thought..Love your video, but this one issue bugs the hell out of me for some reason..subscribed

As a sales promo I can see you mentioning in the videos that you provide, as a courtesy, carabiners to ensure no tampering of the latches.
It sure as hell would sound a whole lot better to the audience than a mere suggestion to everyone, to use them, including the customer that just spent thousands to have you come and make a sales video on their property.
Please understand, I like what you are doing for the coop industry. But poor sales integrity is truly in bad form.
I don't care too much for the BS line you tried to feed us above. "We usually give... (them) if we have them."
AND - your comment "so many moving parts" is just another dodge at the truth! MAN-Up CC! Own it! You just did not consider it!
Throw Mr. Bishop a huge bone. Offer him something he can benefit from. He gave you a great sales promo at no cost!
You should be on your knees thanking him for that sales gem he gave you! Instead you pegged all of our BS Meters to their limits!
In all of your videos I have seen - not once did I see you provide a $1.75 carabiner to anyone!
You can be better than this!
ME TOO! Good job Jason!
Check my reply to CC below.
Very nice! ❤😊
Super informative. Beautiful coop.
Thanks really thinking about these coops
This thing is amazing!
Thank you!!!
Incredible work!
Beautiful coop, in the run area do place a roostering bar for the chickens look out?
Yes, that's the plan, we discussed that too, it just didn't make the final cut of this video. Thanks for watching!
He did give it a quick mention that they shouldn't be higher than the ones in the coop because chickens look for the highest roost at night.
The duck dipper is really cool idea. Nice coop
Thank you!
Very nice. Think maybe using pvc pipes to hide and protect the electrical cords
Do you guys have any thing for the UK people .really loved
We ship our coops everywhere in the World. Thank you!
@@CarolinaCoopsVideos Thanks
Love this!
Purple shirt and pink shorts and stacks of bracelets...something tells me the chickens weren't his idea
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Peony Farm lmaoooo
Happy wife, happy life.
Wasn’t his idea and doesn’t know how to use a hammer. This guy is making a living out of rich white people.
@@dabl9034 really? Fail troll or just a butthead?
For nesting the boxes you can also use carefresh bedding for rabbits, hamsters and gerbils.
We love to use straw to encourage their instincts to build a nest. Chickens love to make a little nest ball to sit in.
Wonderful coop and great video!I see chicken math add in the future lol
Thanks and yes, we agree with you on the chicken math.
I WANT A COOP ASAP!!!!!!
Question..does it freeze there? If so, shouldn’t the drains lines be deeper? I live in Indiana and we have to dig 48” + for all our unground lines.
I think he said they were in Virginia. It freezes there, but usually not deep into the ground.
Nice coop
Isn’t it cruel to not let the ducks swim? They are made for it. I’d hope their whole life isn’t that they can’t ever swim. Hopefully they get out of that coop since she doesn’t sound like she intends to let the chickens out.
There is one king of duck that does not need to swim like most ducks but the rest of them need access to water.
You're correct, it is cruel not to let them swim.
Where do you get the brown 55 gallon barrows?
