@@Jason-wr1jcYeah i agree, dpad is not it, especially since you lose one extra button... Ive always wondered if a miniature arcade stick, would feel good.
I tried gyro on quake 1 ps4 and it’s just pathetic. Don’t get how you got that good with it? Gyro is super unnatural and the learning curve is immense… On pc it’s just a gimmick. Mouse and keyboard is way more intuitive and easy to master.
I tried quake 1 on the PS5, and it felt good to me, you're just not used to playing with gyro. I disagree with calling gyro a gimmick, It's just as intuitive as a mouse, only issue is that you use 2 hands to hold the controller which makes it a lot more confusing, but that's just a design issue with the controller and not the gyroscope itself, you could just use a handed version of this and it would feel fantastic.
@@PKing87 I know barely any console games has this feature, but that's exactly the point of this channel, to show that its good and should be added to any game that has some kind of cursor.
It's so hard to mirror with analog stick for me, and my smoothness is still awful.
I've tried using the d-pad before to solve this problem, it just doesn't feel right, not enough grip. Need some sort of mod.

While on most console shooters and games it is not supported at all 🤭
