    Thank you so much for the tutorial. I replaced my props wrong and the drone was making a low sound like you would hear on a bigger drone. I knew something was wrong but I took off and the drone failed. I looked at this tutorial and I fixed it and it succeeded. Thank you.

    The video talks about removing thread lock. Should we be using thread lock when we replace the propellers?

    • @Medobube
      @Medobube 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should throw away the old screws, and the new screws already have thread lock on them.

    Are there any low-noise propellers available for the mavic mini? Can the low noise ones be used from the larger Mavic models?

    I’m not quite sure, but my Mavic mini seems to be drifting more than usual and I did recently have a collision where my propellers were hit multiple times. The crash wasn’t too bad and nothing else appears to be damaged on the drone. Should I replace the propellers even though I can’t see much damage?

    • @jacksonhansell3796
      @jacksonhansell3796 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Adam Thomas Yeesh, that seems a lot worse than my issue! It might not even be a problem at all, but mine seems to be a little less stable in the air. Your issue on the other hand seems a lot worse than mine. Change the propellers and make sure they are on their correct positions. You should also look into calibrating the compass and IMU. If that doesn’t work you should probably get it checked after quarantine. Hope everything gets fixed soon 👍

    i bought the Mavic Mini fly more is there a video on how to store the drone in the box , i think i did it wrong since i got a motor warning and change prop on right back side after just 3 flights with no drama :), so it had to be the way i stored it

    Recently, in fact yesterday, my Mavic mini was making a beeping sound on the left back propeller. At the base it felt very warm compared to the other propeller bases ... told me that I needed to change it .... Any reason why?

    • @sean2me
      @sean2me 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It could be nicked or warped. I had to replace mine today when it said it was rotating too fast, when it landed it was making that beep sound. I confirmed it was nicked so I changed it. The blades need to be in as close to perfect condition as possible for proper, stable flight.

    What size is the screwdriver? I looked on the website and DJI doesnt sell the screwdriver if you didnt purchase it in the Fly more package. I was going to get a screwdriver off amazon but not sure what size to get

    • @DJITutorials
      @DJITutorials  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, there. A screwdriver for removing propellers comes with the Mavic Mini aircraft. To make it more convenient for you, we use the common Phillips screws. You can use a PH0 screwdriver to remove and install the propellers.
      PH0: The screwdriver bit's diameter is about 3.0 mm, and it can be used for mounting or removing M1.6 to M2 screws. If you have any questions, please contact out support through email. Here is the link: www.dji.com/support?from=store_footer

    Hi! I have a question!
    Why is the code different on the spare propellers?
    G2 7426 F....F1 7426 F...C3 7426 F...
    what do the first 2 characters mean? (F1 ... C3 ... F1 ...)

    • @DJITutorials
      @DJITutorials  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, the codes are various because they help us to distinguish the molds that the propellers made from. Thank you.

      Hello, there. Sorry for the inconvenience. You may try as follows: After the screwdriver is inserted into the screws, please apply with certain force to insert the screws stably and disassemble them.
      Or you may try another recommended screw head. Screwdriver model: PH0 Phillips screwdriver.

    What if the screws become loose when the drone is flying in air?

    • @MrSlowestD16
      @MrSlowestD16 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the props come off in the air then it falls....
      That's why they have thread locker on them. Thread locker usually fully cures within 24-48 hours, but IDK what brand/model paste they have on there.

      They most likely had to do it this way. The hardware/mechanism for the push/twist props would’ve added to the weight and when you’re trying to keep the drone under 250 grams, every little bit counts.
