- This is one of 2 Ficus Benjamina's that I am trying to grow larger than the others. I do routine trims on this one just to keep it healthy and it good structural shape. I decided to put this into a larger, more attractive pot in this video.
Love me a Benjamina :)
Hi there. Just wanted to say, I enjoy your content. I've bought four ficus benjamina from a local corner store that mainly sells plants. Forsure they are cutting from a mature tree. So far. They look spectacular. BTW. Looking forward too more updates of your ficus benjamina tree. Looks great.
Thanks for sharing, I appreciate that. If you post any videos of yours, I'll check them out!
I just started in spring of last year most are only a few years old. I have 200 Japanese maples, 50 bald cypress, 50 birch, 100 conifers, 25 oaks, 50 tropical, and started 500 more oaks, 200 gingko, 2000 Japanese maple. I also have another 200 misc trees. I haven't taken any pics of them or posted them yet.
I'm sorry I somehow missed this comment earlier. I would love to come see your trees. When is good for you?
When can I repot for my three ficus and what can i use the soil thanks
Sir, I have what we call Balete or Ficus Benjamina in the Philippines. I have had it for about 3 months and last week I decided to repot it and do some carving to reduce reverse taper. Now one week later the whole tree is growing new shoots on every branch. Not at all what I expected after a repotting. Do you have any idea why it might be flourishing? It had not been growing much prior to this.
Hi, I'm in boise too. Got into bonsai last year. I don't have a channel yet but you should come look at some of my trees.
Hi, do you have an instagram or facebook with pictures of them? What kind do you have?

Spring and summer, in my experience.

@@kaleemullah8873 It just depends on where you live and the environment they are in. Where I live, between around March till August seems to be the best.
I live in Pakistan
Hey man, how old is this tree at the time of the video?
You know to be honest, I can't really remember for sure. But I would guess somewhere around 2 or 3 years old.
