  • This is one of 2 Ficus Benjamina's that I am trying to grow larger than the others. I do routine trims on this one just to keep it healthy and it good structural shape. I decided to put this into a larger, more attractive pot in this video.

Hi there. Just wanted to say, I enjoy your content. I've bought four ficus benjamina from a local corner store that mainly sells plants. Forsure they are cutting from a mature tree. So far. They look spectacular. BTW. Looking forward too more updates of your ficus benjamina tree. Looks great.

Sir, I have what we call Balete or Ficus Benjamina in the Philippines. I have had it for about 3 months and last week I decided to repot it and do some carving to reduce reverse taper. Now one week later the whole tree is growing new shoots on every branch. Not at all what I expected after a repotting. Do you have any idea why it might be flourishing? It had not been growing much prior to this.

@@kaleemullah8873 It just depends on where you live and the environment they are in. Where I live, between around March till August seems to be the best.

You know to be honest, I can't really remember for sure. But I would guess somewhere around 2 or 3 years old.
