Salvador Shopping is one of the large Brazilian shopping centers in Salvador, Bahia. It was established on May 22, 2007, on Avenida Tancredo Neves.
It is the second shopping center in built-up area in the North-Northeast and the third in Brazil, with 298,000 square meters; in addition to beings among the fifteen largest malls in Brazil in terms of gross leasable area (GLA) and fifth in the North-Northeast after the expansion of shopping centers in other cities in the region.
In terms of number of stores, Salvador Shopping is the second largest in Bahia.
After the expansion, carried out in 2009, the mall now has 464 stores (behind only Shopping da Bahia, which has 535 stores) in addition to 10 cinemas in the mega stadium Cinemark format and space for electronic games.
The mall ended up receiving several national and international awards along its trajectory.
Its facade is made up of photos of Salvador and its culture, such as: the Church of Nosso Senhor do Bonfim, Farol da Barra, Dique do Tororó, Pelourinho, Candomblé and Capoeira.
