Saw them 2 times within 2 weeks at the beginning of the year. They were support for danny worsnop when he came to Atlanta, since they are an Atlanta bases band they had another show for themselves like 2 weeks later, they are phenomenal live
I'm more impressed with every new track I hear from these guys. I'm also enthralled by the singer. She reminds me of Parker Posey with even sharper edges or something. I love it.
A far cry from Rock And Roll Boyfriend which I just heard for the first time just to see what this band was like way back. The vocals are massively awesome here, and great solo, too. Cool jamming in the video as well. 😀

2020 was/is the most challenging hi/lo year I faced in my life so far because of this shitty pandemic! I honestly hate alot of bands signed by Sumerian, but they also have my favorite band signed. I always see random weird bands that are "new" to Sumerian and I saw this one today, I haven't heard of them before, so I played this song. This band is honestly amazing. I am definitely into more post hardcore & heavier music, but this girl has alot of talent and they sound extremely good. This is honestly the first band I've heard in a very long time that took me back to how I felt when I first heard Nirvana, they just have a really unique sound.
Same with me, but more Guns N' Roses. I'd got into Heilung pagan folk, and thought rock n' roll was over (apart from The Pretty Reckless) until hearing this! It was the vocals of Heilung's Maria Franz that hooked me on them, and Kimi's are the rock n' roll equivalent!!
Your "Cover Me - Acoustic" video will forever be my favorite due to it being the sole reason I got into you guys. It was the first song I ever heard from you and it was a killer, so I immediately started following you. All the great interactions I've had with this band and its community stemmed from that one video, so I'm ever grateful for it.

My favorite Starbenders moment this year definitely had to be when Aaron said he over packed his suitcase for the Danny Worsnop tour and couldn't fit any PJs in it so my mom and I got him and lovely pair of jammies that we gave to him at the show and he still had them💜💜💜
