Ya it is awesome fishing up here, mostly small lakes but barely fished by people so it is amazing Maybe you could come up here and fish, the brook trout are biting like crazy now but in the summer it is insane.
Oh wow that was a great lake trout and the white fish,I personally eat white fish all the time and I really love them smoked keep up the good work enjoy watching your vid's here in South alabama.
We call those superior white fish up here in Montana. One of the best tasting fish I've ever had. Excellent white flesh , great texture, no overwhelming fish taste. Delicious however you prepare them. Way better than those Lakers.

A while back I told you you were helping me get my granddaughter interested in bass fishing. It sure did but went another step further. My second granddaughter is also now interested in bass fishing. A 12 year old and a 15 year old. I'm going to need a bigger boat lol. Thanks to you and your youtube channel. I'm curious as to which of my granddaughters out catch's who this summer. Nice job! Lake trout are good fighting fish. I have never caught one through the ice but caught many off the boat. Looks like you had a blast!

i think permeant huts come off march 15th, but i dont know about safe ice, depends on the weather. usually middle of march yea
