So Mars after getting ridiculously lucky on ticket pulls I ended up with 3 Zeno. I built him up to over 3k attack. I added him to my Raid team which is Auron, Akstar, Zeno, Esther, Esther. I do max damage every turn to the current raid boss on Elite. I really wanted to save my tickets for Aerith who will be an amazing healer but Jesus after watching your video on his tour of destruction I got a little hyped and pulled and the gods favored me and now I just need one more which I might UoC if I don't get lucky with a 4th. I am just hoping I get a 4th before Item World leaves so I can get as much HP and MP on it as possible :D I am man enough to admit when I am wrong and Mars I love Zeno as much as I Love my little Bun Buns.
Hey Mars, I want to point out that if you W Cast ROAR, it will use the right hand weapon twice in the damage calculation. Might be useful if you are using a low weapon on the off hand for a killer or element

Dual wield gear on Zeno TDH gear on akstar and chain together that's how it's done akstar is still top tier having a unit who is a similar power level to akstar who chains perfectly with him who doesn't need buster style etc makes having the pair of them amazing
I did get zeno, but i love esther too. Right now i have him running gilgamesh katana plus hyohs stmr with protec grappler and marshal glove for atk stat. His helmet and hyohs clothes. Twisted hero katana mastery killer power of Id. Makes over 2900 atk and takes nothing from my 2856 atk esther (2x storm kickers and her stmr with scanning goggles and cloudKH stmr) haven't played with them together but i want them to be friends lol
Andy Patt He does have a BS chain so you could run a thunder element and chain with Esther so you can sorta make it work. Although it's not optimal I've been doing it since I got him to 7 just because I like them both.
@@grimsoar8818 Yeah, but I don't care about MP costs. I'm just pointing out how to more efficiently use him. There's so many ways to refresh MP now that I've never run into an issue unless a unit is a true MP hog like Golbez.

@@meetmeonmarsI agree and I don't have Sephiroth's STMR. But with other S/TMR's I was able to break 3K attack. The LB fill rate with Tidus STMR, pretty much get his LB up every other turn.
*sigh* FYI: Akstar & Zeno's LB (for those of us with 1 of each 7 star)... don't chain perfectly. I can usually get 6 chains ... 7 sometimes. . . the frames don't match. There's a reddit post about it too. Kinda silly from one perspective - but from another, I guess a missing arm would mess things up. *lol*

The rotations can be simple, but interested in seeing others for the better combos. Combining a TDW and TDH to chain is quite a challenge. Also tried to see who should start chain and end chain. Endless possibilities, which is cool, but ugh - is there a good approach to start chain with one and end with the other vs certain bosses? So far, best chain of around 47 hits for a bit over 1 bil damage in training ground in 1 turn - that's after imperil/imbue/etc. I essentially followed similar abilities you recommended from both your akstar and zeno videos separately and combined it *lol*
You put War goddess insignia on him in your budget build. If I have 2 colorful lei's and A Lasswell's STMR on him for 60% evade, do you think it's more worth it to put a quick assault on him, or still go with WGI? Also, do you think he's even worth using if someone has A Lasswell? Or should I just work on gearing him instead?
Does using the Limit burst on turn 3 "reset the stack"? I've heard about stacking abilities, but not sure if only dying will lose the stack bonus. Thoughts on 'Heart Overwhelming Hatered" materia? Fills LB every turn and boost LB damage.

I have a 7 * Esther and wish I had a 7* Zeno, too (just have one right now). Having those two would carry me quite a way in the game until I really needed to try for a new damage dealer.
Only thing I disagree with is the stmr over 2 Zenos. There are not a lot of Zeno friends, so taking that out of the equation will be very nice. Especially since the friends list is crap
Depends on what roles you already can cover, but in general support units like sylvie are much more (longer) future proof than damage dealer, BUT on the other hand sylvie is already a really solid unit at only 6*, so might as well go for 7* Zeno in this case.
Hey Mars, I kinda whale and can I say great content and thank you. I Got Akstar Stmr just doing the 4 laps 3 Zeno (Almost what I was aiming for). But I decided to go High Tide build due to the stmr's I have access to me. I am rocking Ultima weapon (FFBE)/ Zantezuken(FFbe) 50% (HT) His Helm for another 50% Regan's Trench Coat for 50% 2 X Storm Kickers cause why not Dreams of the Fayt Twisted hero Hearts light and Regan's TMR. They're all good, but tbh I think I like Esther the best. Easier to use, harder to screw up with, and does amazing damage. Zeno and Akstar both are incredible as well though, so choose what you love the most!
Doesn't using his w-skill, t-skill and his LB only use the attack from the weapon in his right hand? The only reason you'd want strong weapons in both hands is if you have mana issues and don't want to use w-skill, or just want to see the high number next to the "atk" stat. edit: Wait, does the bonus atk from 200% TDW take into account the extra atk from his other weapon? @@eyeswulf So you subtract the off hand weapon attack, but you DON'T subtract the 200% bonus that he gets from TDW? Right? So if I have a 150 attack off-hand weapon, then that adds 450 attack to my atk stat, but then I subtract 150 (from the base attack) and I only get a 300 attack bonus...?

sometimes I feel bad for using my Zeno just as a support chainer for my Esther just because I don't really have that much good katanas(need to get my Sephiroth to 100%tmr for me to have a decent katana) xD
I'd say it depends in your resources and your previous chainers: If you have Esther, you could really stop there. If you have enough for a step up lap or two, you could try to get Akstar or Zeno to 7* (either should be really fine) if all you've got are UoC's...I'd err in the side of caution and just UoC Akstar. As most have said, it will be a while before akstar's raw power starts coming up short for new content, let alone Esther or Zeno.
Do you think it's worth wasting 9000 lapis to summon the last step (5000 lapis, that one has Akstar or Zeno guaranteed) and the first step again (4000 lapis, the one that gives you a piece of A/Z ticket)? (because if I summon the first step again, I will get the last piece to summon a 5* star guaranteed with the A/Z ticket.) I already have Akstar 7* and Zeno 7*...what do you think? (I'm aiming to get Zeno's STMR)
For some reason. I can't get this guy past 2.5k atk. When i try to build him on the builder it says he should go to 2.65k buut mine is capped there. Some tip?
@@meetmeonmars maxed out. Again i'm not sure what i'm missing. I don't have crazy ammount of afk weapons. Buut 130 and 135 should be enough since the builder was set with my current equipment (sage for reagen' s tm that has just 10% higher atk)

Pulled 8 Akstar and 4 zeno, 375,003,544 - Zeno is sitting at 3062 ATK, 15k+ HP, and status immunity (minus charm and stop).
I don't have him, but I'm watching in hopes of getting him.

look at what other damage dealer/supports you have and go from there~

sylvie is most usefull, there is so many dps, is you have sora or esther don't bother with zeno
If you have a close to top tier dps.. sylvie first. Then save your next uoc up to get Zeno

Do zeno first, Esther 2nd....forget akstar if you cannot afford uoc...he's not as good as those 2

Tdw bonus is treated as equipment bonus. So, subtract the off hand weapon's atk from the DMG sheet atk for calc purposes

Hell yeah. I got 1zeno and 5akstar but enough for 3uoc's. I'm not beating anything until I have them both maxed
It's a pretty damn strong STMR. You would use it for ages. Long as you have everything else covered you'd probably be fine!
Is a stmr staff important? I lack aoe reraise... I only have a 6* lotus mage fina... lolz

That's also an option. I think it's recommended to use Roar to get the stacks maxed as quickly as possible for the following triple cast.

Your odds aren't amazing for STMR with those two steps and the bonus ticket, but it is better chances than anything else!
