If you look, everyone does on the first dribble it but it is never called double dribble.

mid-late 80s, 90s and 2000s were def the golden era of nba imo. Am I wrong? I was too young or not even born to see most of it, since i was a kid in 2000s, but I would always watch old games, and from what i can tell, that was the golden era. For the last decade + , it's "Lebron era", meaning the pussy era of NBA. Boring, lazy and uncompetitive era.
