Agreed-DJ was a class act and when a great like Larry ide says he’s the best player he’s ever played with, well it speaks for itself but at times it looked as if Bird and DJ had some kinda of mental telepathy goin Diana’s they were spot on as of 1 mind just about all the time-I think it’s because rthey e

Love Patrick Ewing. He was tough but didn't go into unnecessary fights but rather be the peacemaker

Man, just look the size of Wes Unseld! One of the strongest and toughest players in the history of the game. Would like to see a fight between him and Willis Reed. Sparks would fly!

In today's NBA there would have been enough fines to cut the national deficit in half !🤣

Someone once told me that Doug Christie had gang affiliation which was why he feared no one and some players around the league knew it. Remember that scrap with Rick Fox?

Back in the day, the Knicks tried every which way to give the 3 position to someone else but somehow Newman held on to the 3, somehow.
Seeing Tripucka, i thought of how it was often the younger brother who was more talented in basketball than the older brother.
Seeing that Knick's forwards was like seeing the second coming of the Blues (bruise) brothers--Oakley and Mason. Where's the beef? Under the boards. Lol
Shaq- power move always dribbled with two hands on the first dribble. I pointed out that it was legal when I was playing pickup and the other team thought I was crazy. If you look, everyone does on the first dribble it but it is never called double dribble.

Physical play in the paint is what's missing today. AAU ball has ruined the NBA

mid-late 80s, 90s and 2000s were def the golden era of nba imo. Am I wrong? I was too young or not even born to see most of it, since i was a kid in 2000s, but I would always watch old games, and from what i can tell, that was the golden era. For the last decade + , it's "Lebron era", meaning the pussy era of NBA. Boring, lazy and uncompetitive era.
