One of the greatest, period. He's in my top 20 ever to lace them up, and arguably the top PF of all-time. I have him above Karl and tbh I think he was better than Timmy, too. Maybe. Gotta wonder how many rings Chuck would have with Parker, Manu and Pop for 15+ years.

Nonsense. Barkley was mid-range on the thug scale. He started a lot of trouble, but rarely finished any of it. Charles Oakley, Antoine Carr, Larry "Mr. Mean" Smith, Anthony Mason, pretty much the entire Pistons roster...real tough guys. Then you had guys like Karl Malone, Otis Thorpe, and Kevin Willis that didn't act tough, but nobody (including Barkley) would dare test them. It's just that from today's vaginal perspective, every old school dude looks like he's made of iron.

Charles stayed in the news off and on the court. He was always getting arrested for something. He has been arrested since being on TNT and did not get fired. In today's cancel culture he would have been gone for the womanizing and was, gambling, etc.

I still love when he complained day and night on TV when Auburn hired Gene Chizik and not the guy Barkley wanted, I think Barkley called it racism. Chizik in year 2 Won a National Championship.

As Michael Jordan greatly pointed out:
"Charles is not Charles with his mouth shut. You know, it's like me playing with hair."
He had his best opportunities in Phoenix, but blew it paving for Houston to win back-to-back.
And perhaps the reason why he was traded there eventually.
    Guess Scottie Pippen is right:
He can't win because Charles is not fully committed.
Great presentation, and a good reference (or culmination) why he failed to win it all.
