Gus's fatal flaw was his failure to realize he could have won by doing nothing. Just running his restaurants would have saved him from the Hector bomb. Hector would have wasted away, sucking down jello, while thinking of Nacho. Gus was a lot like Wal-Turd that way. Wal-Turd could have won by accepting what his former Gray Matter partners offered him in terms of money and health care and letting Hank agree to care for his family after he dies - Show over in five minutes.
Wal-Turd 💀
In other words, pride and a desire for vengeance.
I feel like eventually Hector would have spilled the beans to the DEA since he has nothing to lose
@@Succcccccccccccc that’s the one thing he’d never give up. His dignity to never speak to the federales. If he gets one up on Fring he’ll do it any other way, plus Fring would kill Hector before he could say anything useful to the DEA, it would be useless and a death sentence.
Gus' "friend"
Yeah, we forgot that it was confirmed they were romantic partners. Thanks for watching, though!

@@TieflingInAJarthey were dating, not that difficult to comprehend lol
You should provide a scenario where Gus decided to help Jesse kill those drug dealers at the cost of Jesse no longer working with Walt and can’t cook or sell meth again. Gus will pay him for his time so he doesn’t talk or want to be desperate for money.
Would it work?
Hi, masterzombie! Are you asking us to detail what we think would happen? Great to see you again!
@@thedefinitiveopinion I just think it’s an interesting topic for a video cause no one’s ever provided the scenario. It’s good to be back guys you are all awesome
This was so wonderfully done! Good editing, solid analysis. You deserve way more views and subs!!
Thank you for taking the time to comment! We really appreciate that. Thank you for being so kind, and we hope to see you more often!
This is a wonderful analysis, however referring to Max as a "friend" is just incorrect, they were lovers.
This was a great breakdown, not just addressing the characters and their actions but how it all fits into the plot. Great job! Liked and subscribed. Looking forward to the next videos.
Thank you for such an eloquently put compliment! We appreciate it so much. Thank you for recognizing the hard work we put into the video and we’re so glad you enjoyed! We hope to see you soon!
This was a really interesting video, great job.

less then 1k views? nah this deserves way more
Thank you! We'll get there soon hopefully! Thanks for watching and commenting! It really helps us out 🥳
Why am I just now getting reccomended this?!?! Fantastic work.
BTW, what happened to your Joker analysis? Copyright gods get you?
The youtube algorithm works in mysterious ways... Also, thank you! We appreciate the support. Yeah, unfortunately that video got sent to the shadow realm. We're working on fixing it and getting it back up, though. Thanks for commenting again!
Gus has to be one of my favourite characters in 'Breaking Bad' his backstory seeing his partner he loved being taken out in front his eyes would mess up any person.
I love how we're introduced to him as a sociopathic drug lord, but later learn that, while he's still a sociopathic drug lord, there's a lot more than drugs to his empire with so many revenge aspects!
Man this is a amazing video and very underrated keep it up though this is how you get subs
Thank you so much! We're going to keep working our hardest and hopefully reach a lot of people soon. Thanks for the comment, it means a lot and motivates us to keep going!
epic video, and great editing!
Thank you so much! We appreciate the support 😁
Gus reminds me of Captain Ahab from Moby Dick or Max Cady from Cape Fear. He is a revenge based villain. Like Captain Ahab and Max Cady, he could have won and survived by doing nothing.
Good comparison, definitely some inspiration in their pursuits and motives! Thanks for commenting!
Poor Victor he just wanted to be a good henchman.
Ahhh watching people talk about a show I like… This is perfect! 😇
Glad you enjoyed :) thank you for leaving a comment! It really encourages us
epic vid dude
Thank you!
For me, Gustavo Fring was the only one in the BB/BCs universe to understand the "Long Game".
100%. He actually knew what it meant to build an empire. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Gustavo was the only character in this show I ever rooted for.
3:05, *partner, not friend
Yeah, they were confirmed to be lovers by the show runner in 2022! We didn’t even know 💀
luvs it
We’re glad 😁
Fring is the hero.
Definitely debatable! please tell us your opinion!
Not even close, honestly.
''we all rooted for walter at some point'' no i was rooting for jesse the entire time.. poor boy
Really good Video, I enjoyed it a lot :D
Thanks for that, we really appreciate it! Thanks for commenting too!
I disagree. Gus was still logical, he just had emotional motives. Also, every great man will collapse eventually.
Then I don't think you actually disagree 😂! Of course, Gus clearly operated logically at times (with children, for example, showing a lack of empathy to help further his plan). We were just making the point that his foundation is emotional and it's what eventually led to his downfall! Thanks for watching and we appreciate you commenting your thoughts so we could clarify! Thank you!
@@thedefinitiveopinion No problem.
historians will say they were close friends

If he'd ignored Gale's insecurities he'd still be making piles of cash with bergermeister meisterberger.
Can someone tell me what accent this is?? I mean other than irritating
