Having problems with door locks not aligning up with the holes? This can happen with older homes where locks were replaced or the door frame was repaired. Here is a simple solution to the problem.
It can be frustrating, you take the time to make a video only for those who don't to moan and pick at everything. My advice is to ignore them, they soon get bored and move on to another persons video to criticize some more. Keep uploading and don't be put off by them, haters are always gonna hate.
No it dosen't need to be explained , you just sound like a know it all who thinks that their smarter than anyone else . Stop and look how your comming across as Mr Perfect . so sorry that we aren't as perfect as you obviously think that you are . Whizkid
Sounds like you think that you are an expert DIYer. Well I bet you make mistakes to . Actually, I didn't see anything funny about it as you described . You shouldn't judge until you get to know someone . Whizkid
@thisoldguy64 We're NOT rich nor experts. We use what resources are available to us. We're not here to please every Tom, Dick, and Harry who has they're two cents worth of BS. We show people how they can do things on their own to save every dollar they can without paying the cost for a professional, but that's up to them. Many of these videos are simple to do with little cost and time. Not everybody is rich..... -MrFixit
@thisoldguy64 Actually , your right about the tools . the wood chisels especially , I do need better ones , but as for other tools I do have better ones , Craftsman , Popular Mechanics , SK , etc. to name a few . As for home repair , I may not be the guys from This Old House , but I know more about home repair than you think that I do . I did what I could do with what I had to do with !!!!!! Whizkid
I won't get into the things wrong with your comment either , SweetCyn Phillips. Yes maybe eye protection would have been nice ,but it's not like I'm using a power tool except for the drill . With the chisels while it could have happened ,it wasn't like the pieces were flying like they would have been with a power tool which could have thrown them with force. A DIY ambulance medic , they don't have ambulances or medics just for do it yourselfers.
I really liked this video and disagree on the editing comment. I like seeing the trials and tribulations....up to the point where you got locked out and the ragged hole.....this is the way it looks....it is not an edited masterpiece..just like the job will turn out.....realism. One suggestion is if you have one, to use a rotozip with attachments.
You're Welcome, SweetCyn Phillips. We do not claim to be perfect. There are things we miss or forget. We make the videos on the fly with what little time we get to spend away from work. A DIYer Ambulance Medic? lol! Good one! There are plenty of videos for you to watch for more humor. -MrFixit
Thank you, CBDIY for watching the video and the great comment. You are right , one way is to adjust the door itself , but that can be a little more work or it can be a lot more depending on why the lock is off to begin with or you could have to do both if it is off bad enough . Thank you , Whizkid
I can't believe this needs explaination but OK-I'm a DIYer AND an amb.medic, get it? Somehow I'm not surprised that was lost on you. And while a power tool would do it with force and perhaps imbed it, a flying chip from your pitiful "home repair" attempts actually is enough. If you have made more videos, I'm sure there is much more humor to be had, but that'd just be too much for any one person to bear. thanx.
@@lowhertzhighspl I believe he is from Hiseville, Kentucky, USA. I think this video didn't go to plan as the drills were dead and the chizzle blunt but it's cool that they uploaded it anyway, too often they get mocked for their accent or appearance but they keep going and their channel has grown. We are into the 2020s and you still think its cool to mock people over the way they talk, says more about you than them. Time to grow up princess.
This was hilarious! Appreciate your intentions but DIY videos may not be your forte." Maybe" safety glasses with flying wood chips, really? Being a DIYer Ambulance Medic I love you guys, we call it job security. I won't get into all the things sorry with this, Thanx for the laughs.
Wouldn't have to be an expert to top this Whizzo, obvious hit a sensitive spot. Relative perhaps, sorry the humor was lost on you.If one posts something like this do you honestly think it's not open for "interpretation". The cable guy made a fortune with this stuff. :-)

Screw your cats, what kind of accent is this? It's like nails on a chalkboard! Anyways, what if it's horizontally misaligned?
Never mind my second question however, I'm still interested in the type of accent.
