Curious. What is making people leave ITH? It’s been interesting watching the changes as they grew in size and intensity.
Looks like ITH has terminated all but 17 workers for a total of 20 employees including Randy, Amanda and Tom. I hope all who purchased tiny homes for this community eventually get their homes.

There’s a page Incredible tiny homes friends and neighbors. Multiple employees that were terminated today, including James the Production Manager, verified this information.

Yes, step by step! It’s an exciting process to see it come to life as we have envisioned it from the beginning (and really even more beautifully than we expected). There was so much overgrowth from the beginning, now that it’s opened up it’s just spectacular:)

ITH has 20 that are working together smarter than the larger amount before! Their quality is not suffering. Remember, all the Model homes are made with all their Amish Partners in KY. So, don't be concerned. All the Incrediboxes and Cottages are on schedule.

No, don't do that. It's not your animal, and some fruits/veggies can cause gas and he will swell up and need the Vet. Pick some grass right there and feed it to him.

Please consider putting in a storm shelter. An rv park at a popular lake here in Tx was hit last night by a tornado
We have 2 large community tornado shelters just around the corner. Seems like the entire country has been having weird weather this year, we have good preparations, alert systems and monitoring for such occasions (which many areas of the country getting his lately do not)

You failed to mention that only Randy in Tenn. charges a $30,000 upfront, nonrefundable key payment to get that $300 month rent.

The Bull is so cute, what fun to visit him every day. Cows can be quite social. What a beautiful place you've created on this planet and helping so many. If I ever leave WA. I'd head there. Thank you, yes good to see residents on site and more importantly enjoying it! (With still a lot of amenities and features still to come as well). It was an emotional night, but in a really good way and we’re so honored to have the responsibility to now do more :)
The homes are literally just a few feet apart. Will they all be that way?
Yes some homes are closer than others, especially in phase 1 as we worked to keep as many trees as possible and slot the homes between the trees, but there is also a backyard space that lake lots won't have (they have the view). But there may be around 10 feet or so between the homes in phase 1; phase 2 lots will be wider to also accommodate parking next to the homes (vs in front like these in phase 1). Keep in mind phase Forest lots were also $5,000 less than phase 2. But with all the trees around and above, the decks and privacy fencing some residents opt to put in, once the finishing touches are in place, this is going to be a community like no other. I have more video footage coming to better convey the beauty and sense of peace the residents are already experiencing. More to come, stay tuned!!
I would like to add that this is a community and not a subdivision. This is a place to interact with others even if it is just to wave in the morning. Some people may not like that idea, but as we get older, it becomes important. Just because your house is close to another does not mean you give up your privacy. It just means that you can be more social if you choose to. I am single and don't want a big yard with a sign that says stay off the grass.

Make sure everyone knows that the Birmingham special will be all wood built as well. It won't have the LP siding for that discounted price. That was my understanding. This was in addition to it not being painted or stained on the inside.
If I understand it correctly, neither the inside or outside will be painted or stained.
They're trying to unload those unpainted Birminghams. The siding is the cheapest knotty pine available, and will be feasted on by carpenter ants, carpenter ants and termites. And if it's not painted or stained, that pine will be rotting away in no time. I owned a pine-clad house in Georgia and the maintenance was unending.

The houses are too close to each other.
The phase 1 lots are a little closer as they were also discounted; the way the trees are growing in that section dictated how large the lots would be. They do have backyard spaces as well and parking in front (so narrower but also deeper), whereas most of the phase 2 lots on the lake are shorter (back up to lake) but wider as the parking spots are next to the homes there. And keep in mind we wanted a close-knit community; we also except some may desire privacy fencing between the homes which is totally fine. Hope that helps!

I know you are responsibole for land taxes but will the residents have to pay county property taxes on their homes there? Have you looked into this?
Of course we have to pay personal property taxes. We own the house. Just like you pay taxes on your car or your home.

@@vancey6072actually, a lot of the Southern States charge a yearly Tax on vehicles, RV's, boats, etc called Ad valorem. We live in GA and pay a yearly tax on our RV, though it's been bought and paid for 5+ years. So that's what was being referenced.
@@reynetallents Yes, but is that tax for the "tags"? I'm talking about about something on wheels that will never move. Where I live there is no annual "property" tax on things on wheels that just sit in the drive. If I knew what county this parcel was in I could look it up.

You pay the "key money" and also $300 a month for the lot? Or do you get so many months free because you paid the key money?
The key money gets you the steeply discounted lot rent of $300/mo which would have to be closer to $1,000/mo or so with all the amenities and features the property has. Hope that helps!

Other tiny home communities typically range from $550-$750 mo. rent, and they already have their amenities in place, and most are equal or superior to what you will have. You will have a very nice community when completed, so please, there's no need for you to turn into another Randy Jones, with his embellishments and distortions, unless you want to lose your credibility.
