      Thank you. An easy solution. Let's you know these Politicians don't want Social Security around.

    Raising the cap is the obvious and easy solution. Why have they kicked the can down the road for so long? I don't trust the incoming administration to do anything right, let alone on SS.

I'm going to make a bunch of copies of it keep them on record... just saying thank you Dr you have helped so much and continue to...

      Nobody does but, if you're married to someone or were married to someone who paid in, you can collect off of them. Is this what you're actually getting at?

    I had to pay both 6% mandatory pension AND 7.45% FICA. They are double dipping. Breaking the system bu 1000 cuts.

    They had an equivalent amount or more than SS put into a pension plan in place of SS. A Section 218 agreement.

    Does nursing home has the right to take a patient Social Security disability check even when a patient is on Medicare and Medicaid?

    • @DebLindley-xg8gz
      @DebLindley-xg8gz 2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

      Yes, that's the way it has to be and the only way they are ensured to get paid. In my State, you get to keep $50.00 of your check for personal needs. The amount per month is different in every State. Good luck.

    I believe the high earners limit is to equalize the max payout limit. Basically what you are suggesting is distributing wealth. The only way it would be fair is to increase the max payout. Why should some pay in much more and receive the same as someone who paid in much less?

    • @triciahowie3653
      @triciahowie3653 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      It is a % of wages. We pay on 100%, so as a %, they pay much less. Please explain this to us, please Dr Weir. I probably got it wrong.

    I'm still trying to find out what should I do when my decision letter says knowingly gave up my disability benefits and changed my disability start date up to a year and half before my hearing so I wouldn't be eligible. I did not do this knowingly and I want to know what I should do . I had received letter saying I had enough work credits for SDDI. Please help Dr. Ed. Bobby Meyer

      Sounds like laziness on the SSA employee. Yes, I agree with the below comment. Get your ex's dang SS# off of old taxes, when all else fails. Good luck. In case you get that lazy employee, or another one. IEDS (Independently Entitled Divorced Spouse) benefits RS 00202.005
