I glad FOX didn't take the "Societal Breakdown" route here and went for a more realistic scenario.

I was waiting for Fox to pull another pack out of that thing at the end. A few things he left out that I always have: either a Swiss Army knife (preferably the baller one that has the magnifying glass) or multi-tool, and a fire striker. Hell, might as well pack some 4# fishing line and some spinners and hooks. You never know how long it's going to take you to get home.
I'm curious to know what the packed weight is for that bag/setup. I've personally been hiking on an at least biweekly basis, carrying pretty much everything I'd need for your average 24-48hour use case. The only thing I do not pack when hiking is food (I have dehydrated meals at home, but I don't eat on the trail so I don't pack them). My pack comes out to be ~32# with 3L hydration bladder completely full. Mind you, I am not one of those "ultralight" nerds. My tent alone is edging closer to 6 lbs. but I do try to shave weight in other areas.
With that being said, 3L isn't a lot of water in the grand scheme of things. I also pack a filtration system, but what if I am near an area where a decent source of desalinated water is not available to me? That's the one thing I fear most because I drink a crap ton of water, even on an uneventful day with little physical activity. I easily drink 1.25 gallons of water per day, but packing that much water for multiple days would be ridiculous weight wise. Not to mention other uses of water for cleaning and whatnot. It adds up.
I have no question here, just food for my own thought.
Nice AT4. I bought a Denali but wish I’d gotten an AT4. The very first time I took it off a paved road, I got it stuck and ended up breaking the frame when we winched it out with the tractor. Not kidding. The ground clearance is total sht!
Damn! I love the At4 line my other daily is a 2019 at4 Sierra, great rigs. Did warranty cover that?
One thing is for certain. You never spend a night in the woods.

Whiskey for me would be essential. If I am in a situation that I need to use an emergency pack, chances are I will be panicking and staying calm is my first priority. Plus, whiskey can also be used as a painkiller and a disinfectant

I just built out my pack and plan to start walking around the neighborhood to train myself. I'm 16 miles from home and its 100% urban walk. I got some ideas from your video.
What AK and pistol you using with it?
id roll with my zastava M70 because it has what i need on it. however in this kind of situation id be rolling with my AR15 10.5 suppressed. side arm, glock any 9mm.
So you guys leaving batteries in the car in the heat; do you ever check them? Ever pop that light open to see the corrosion?
My get home bag consists of my on body edc along with a bottle of water and a snickers. I get people like gear, but this is just a bunch of useless junk. Im getting home to my family fast. Im jogging when i can at minimum. I cant be fast carrying u bunch of camping gear. I cant believe people cant walk or jog 20-30 miles without a 20 pound bag of gear. If its that bad where i cant get a ride i would be worried about my family so im not stopping to cook, sleep, make a fire, etc. Every video i see on get home nags are all the same. Theyre bug out bags renamed. Work on ur health, stamina and survival skills instead of buying everything in the camping aisle at walmart
you must not travel much, or spent anytime in legit survival situations. I am currently running 3 miles EOD. and I wear 15-20 pound plates on me while doing so. just last week I was 20 hours away from home, got stuck in traffic on I65 for 3 hours, its very nice knowing I have enough things on me to be ready for most any situations. one was a simple rain coat. im going to be posting a video on what I do weekly on my training routine to stay in shape and be able to do exactly what you are saying. also your Walmart $1 heat blanket... I've seen save countless lives as a search and rescue personal. cheers

Hey Misha and Fox, I was just curious if there is any update on that forged Pioneer arms rifle y'all were testing. Last I saw Fox was doing the James brown with it. Is the pioneer good to go or is it a dud?

Switch the rain coat and bags with black heavy duty garbage bags and zip ties… these can be used to build a temporary shelter or double as a rain coat, also vacuum bag the things you can to make them water tight and smaller in volume and add some deep woods spray
I love vacuum bags. I recall when i first got some, made international travel so so so much better.

I actually always have my radio, I carry a Motorola XPR 650. but it’s my departments radio & I didn’t want to flash it around on TH-cam.
You should get a compas in your pack also

You biggest problem is you truck gmc is as unreliable as it gets (Get a Toyota)
Compass is on solar charger, I’m a vehicle nerd btw. My job requires unreal amounts of travel by vehicle for many years now. I like my GMC 6.2s & 5.3. Cheers!

everyone has same basic stuff its the add ons that kinda make it yours my bag of doom has loads of random stuffage as well

@@joemorganeatmyshortschannel Because my entire life i haven't been able to just hop in the car and go to the store, I've had to make-do with things already in my house. I've become very good at McGuivering repairs or discovering substitutes. Heck as a kid, my favorite toy was ducttape! lol
