I've been seeing many videos noting issues with high capacity storage on the PSP. You recommend category lite, which is good, but I have one more tip. When formatting the high capacity card, if it's 128GB or above, make SURE it's formatted as FAT32 with 64K clusters. That's 64K clusters. Do not select the default, it's far too low for good speed at that capacity. 32k will perform better, but 64k is really needed past 128GB.
@nickwhitman6319 Never use the "default" cluster size in that commonly used program. It gets it wrong. Make sure it's set to 64kb clusters minimum for that card size. Other than that, the categories plugin you used may not be set up right. Even with the wrong cluster size, they should at least be showing up even with a long access delay. I'd double check the configuration of that plugin.
Just a thought for a future video, but maybe you could have a games discussion on what games you're playing or even recommended games for certain systems. For instance a lot of users get all these old roms from atari, nintendo, sega, etc; with thousands of games most probably have no idea what games they should be checkin out. The first one you showed the double micro SD card I had so many problems with that stuff got erased off the card and it is really flimsy The original Pro Duo get pretty expensive as you go up in size I remember when the 8 gig original Sony Pro Duo card came out me and my friend went to the Sony store in the King of Prussia Mall and it was $150 and when Sony release the 32gig pro Duo card it also sold for $150 But there is a fourth option that you didn't talk about having a PSP Go which has 16 gigs of built-in memory and you can expand that memory with an M2 card which goes up to 16 gigs I like to PSP Go the only thing about it I don't like is sooner or later there's a chance that the ribbon cable might break with opening and closing it but I'm sure I could get it fixed and the other thing about it that sucks is that if you want to replace the battery you have to take it apart to do that even though it's not hard to do nothing beats the battery cover when the 1000 2000 and 3000 models And in Europe the E1000 or it was called the PSP Street which had no Wi-Fi or ad hoc

there is now a memory stick pro duo HX series with 64 and 128GB, This video is outa date
The first one you showed the double micro SD card I had so many problems with that stuff got erased off the card and it is really flimsy
The original Pro Duo get pretty expensive as you go up in size I remember when the 8 gig original Sony Pro Duo card came out me and my friend went to the Sony store in the King of Prussia Mall and it was $150 and when Sony release the 32gig pro Duo card it also sold for $150
But there is a fourth option that you didn't talk about having a PSP Go which has 16 gigs of built-in memory and you can expand that memory with an M2 card which goes up to 16 gigs
I like to PSP Go the only thing about it I don't like is sooner or later there's a chance that the ribbon cable might break with opening and closing it but I'm sure I could get it fixed and the other thing about it that sucks is that if you want to replace the battery you have to take it apart to do that even though it's not hard to do nothing beats the battery cover when the 1000 2000 and 3000 models
And in Europe the E1000 or it was called the PSP Street which had no Wi-Fi or ad hoc
im using dual 32gb on the psp 3000 and working fine,
It took a little studying but I managed to get my 2 64gb micro sd cards working inside of a ms pro duo adapter
Does a 256gb micro SD work?
Do you take videos about psp analog calibration?
I keep getting an error code of 0x80010002 when on modoru, what does that mean?
Google it
Thanks Robles. Not sure if anyone has this issue but my system won't show more than a few iso files at a time in the menu. (I currently have 5 iso files and it's only showing 2 in the on screen menu. games show up when loaded one at a time on the card so all work) Finding any info about showing a full iso library is challenging.
Any info from anyone watching Robles would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
(running 6.61 Pro-C inf)
Probably bought a fake card that came from CHINA.
i’m gonna get this but, i have this dns error and can’t get into psp store and don’t know how i’m gonna be able to download games and i can’t either make a psp acc fa
*any help
psp store is no longer working..
My PSP continually says ‘there is no memory card’ when trying to format a Sandisk Extreme 256gb both with a single and dual adapter. I’m on 6.61 ProMod-C2p with infinity 2. I formatted the card FAT32 on Mac first. PSP 1000 will not see it with either adapter. Any ideas? Cheers
Maybe it just can't read 256gb idk
Also yo do you know how to connect the 1000 to tvs ive been looking but can't find it
@@Russellfromup. Nah people on the Console Modding group on FB have said they've used 256GB. Not working for me. Might just go with a MSPD at least I know it'll work. Sorry I don't know about connecting to TV either.
@@Dan-kb2oz only very rare dual slot can support more than 256GB. It is photofast dual slot early version, not the current version in the market now. I'm lucky coz I own one.
@@MkojaD It turned out to be a fake card. Got another and all's good.
Does 500 gb work
That Samsung not work good on psp I have one 128 the best ones sandisk the new ones for cellphones
4:00 the lag is because the SD cards capacity is too high
Your right i know the best sd crad for that is only 32 , 16 and 8 gb only
do you know how to expand the psp go memory? i cant find m2 mini cards at reasonable prices, this cards are super expensive
I feel like Sony should have gone with microSD for a memory card on the Vita and Go. Ima try to find a video on hot to do that bro. Have a good day. :)
Has anyone had success with 512 Gb on a psp?
Photophast 5400 work for me 9 year same adapter no problem 16 +32
My psp fat 2009 no problem with 48gb full. Juste format to micro sd in the adapter with psp no with pc and work no problem
❗️PSA❗️
The reason most of the dual cards don't work is because you guys are using SDXC cards, which are 64GB and above. SDHC cards should be used, it details that. The DUAL SLOT IS FOR 2 32 GB CARDS.
i just baught a 64 gb SDXC card and a single slot MSPD to micro sd adapter, what do i do now? :(
Alot of fake sd to pro duo and alot of fake pro duos in general
Also 128gb cant be so cheap as $20 it might be fake too eg it might SAY 4gb but really is 1gb will run put of space now they have figured out to allow the system to copy 128gb worth of stuff but those files will become corrupt as its not a genuine 128gb stick
the only reason why i still have a psp is that i wouldn't be able to watch my Spider-Man 3 UMD 😎
Plz give me pandrive plz 😭😭
l use memory stick pro due and it's green one 1.0GB
Do those memory sticks adaptors where you can put a micro card work for non modded psp systems?
Yes
Subbing
they are only 2.33$ now
I have a sony 4 gb card
And a 32 mb sony card
I have 1terabyte storage on my psp 3000 with tons of ps1 game psp games
Does one 256gb SD card work with an adaptor? I think a double SD card set up is worrisome
1 tb is impossible... for the psp... i think max is 256gb..
Can you please don't say Micro SD Adaptor so casually. because I got one alongside with my PSP and when it arrived it was a wider version of a micro sd adaptor and it also works on camera and pc as well but not on a psp
i have a psp-3000 running infinity pro, how do i get the categories thing?? I don't know shit, total noob
Question: What's the best option
Answer: Idk' I didn't actually test them, but here's my opinion.
