the TLDR utility does the same thing and pulls the information from the same place as cheat.sh, the difference is that it has actual highlighting(which helps with readability) and it also caches the ones you've looked at before so you can have access to them even when you don't have an internet connection.
Very useful and enjoyable video ! Discovered a lot of new services :) Personally, I use openweather with curl and jq to extract weather description and icon. For the icons, I use a sed script to substitute a unicode character form Nerd Font to the icon description provided by openweather. Could you make more videos like that, plz ?
Just look into REST API to realize how powerful curl can be. You can use curl with anything that has that support and much more. You can use it to easily test your own servers as well.
I've done plenty of web dev, I know what a REST API is. But it is great that it's such a powerful tool. Maybe I could make a video about interacting with a random REST API, that could be fun
@@BrodieRobertson I should have phrased it better as I mentioned that for everyone else! You are studying CS so of course you know what that is. Thanks for introducing me to 0x0.st btw. It's always a pleasure to find a useful tool that I can use on the terminal. XD
The developer ... HE DOESN'T LIKE PORN????????????? LOL curl is awesome I used it passing credentials to a website, to download some files (several GiB in size) and check if the download was finished - if I recall correctly, if there is a error code 18, it means it didn't finished, and it kept sending the request to finish the download That is how I downloaded tens of mods for games one day Also, I didn't knew about :help on wttr.in Another great video man!
You're not far off, the weather is so predictable in some part that people only consider the wet season and the dry season. But it actually does snow here
eyyyyyyyyyy 😎
I thought you'd appreciate that
@@BrodieRobertson haha for sure
Where do you find these things, man! Now I want one too! :D
Thanks for this video mate! Really found some cool stuff here

I knew there was an off-line version, the same is true for the dictionary, but this is available if you don't want to install anything
You are reading my mind or something? I was just searching for these. Thanks, great video.
Glad that it helped
Does he?
Very useful Brodie. Thanks!
Just saw v2.wttr.in on Reddit, thanks for the video!
Wait there's a v2, I didn't know about that one
@@BrodieRobertson i think V2 is still in beta, but the output is niiice
I only do the single line output so nothing changes for me
Thats cool. Didn't knew so many curl urls were there. Thanks
There's way more out there, these are just some of the more useful ones.
@@BrodieRobertson I hope i'll seeing more cool curl stuff on your channel. Keep up the good work. All the best.
I really like curl, nice video.

There's a surprising number of people in the Linux sphere like that, I've pretty much only used curl for stuff like this but that's awesome as well.
very nice
That was fun
why do you need a weather checker in Australia? Spoilers: it's sunny.

I thought I would love a Luke Smith beard presenting a DistroTube video but this one has too much hair
Anyone has too much hair compared to Luke and DT
