+Stacy Love is black ur natural hair color? Cuz if it is the dye will show up fine but if it's not natural u definitely need to remove the color with Color Oops or something and it is a little damaging but not as bad as bleach
Kristian King wish I would have known that I dyed my hair this color 3 weeks ago and it didn't work because I had dyed my hair black a few months before.
+Kristian King (KKtheQueen) no I have like a dark brown I've been using head and should to remove my hair dye. it is getting lighter but I am scared dying my hair with a color remover. my hair isn't damage or dry. and it's super long. I don't want to go to a salon I rather do it myself...save more more like that lol

kinda late but; what color was your hair before the first purple dye? I really wan to try this color, i also used it back when i was 17 and i just don't remember the color payoff. I have dark brown hair so im expecting more low light rather than a bright purple or a more intense color like yours (is lovely btw)

If i wanted to make this slightly brighter and less dark, could I do half the box 20 developer and half my own bought developer? Just take it up shade lighter so its a little easier to see? Or would be be more beneficial to just use a separate 30 developer with this box dye? My hair is almost black; it's a really dark brown.
What color do you suggest eyebrows should be to match this hair color?

I just dyed my hair Garnier #462 Sugar Beet. My hair was light brown with blonde streaks with some gray sprinkled in and the light brown turned dark brown almost black, and the blonde turned the color I wanted, that purply burgundy you have. I washed it like 4x bc imo it was too dark. Now I can already see my blonde streaks peeking through. Looks ok but not what I wanted, I wanted it ALL burgundy. My starting color wasn't anywhere near as dark as yours so idk why it came out so dark.

I normally dye my hair soft dark brown . My question is would I have bleach my hair out or can I just add it to my hair to get that color??

Hi! I am currently going on a new hair experiment... I started off with bleach highlighted hair then tried and used the L’Oréal Feria in deep burgundy brown but after just one wash I realized it started to fade and my blonde started to show through, I wanted to know how long did this colour start to fade? Also did you have to redye often? I love your videos so much
+Gabrielle Aranda Honestly I don't use drugstore box dye anymore because it just doesn't last. I've been staying true to the Iroiro colors company that I'm affiliated with because the red lasts soooo long for me it's so worth it! Even tho it's semi permanent it's actually the longest lasting color I've ever had. I'm obsessed with it. I have a video on it I did a review and a discount code if u ever wanna try it. How bright it will come out all depends on the color of ur hair so if u don't want it to be as bright as mine start with light brown hair maybe. 💕

Nice video. I was thinking about using that color . It looks great on you but to me it looks much more of a reddish color. I know that color can be lost in translation...is it ok pretty reddish or do you see some violet/ purplish color?

Did you have to strip your color at first when first dying your hair burgundy? I have dark brown hair and used a different brand but I was going for the color in this video. It has a burgundy/red-ish tint but not as vibrant as I would like.

Rose Wilson not really, you'd need to first dye it a dark brown and then the burgundy dye if you are achieving the same hair as her

I've been coloring my hair blue-black from this brand, and I bought the same exact burgundy color that you have just to try it out, but I'm nervous what it will do since my hair is blue black. Will it show up, or do something wacky to my hair ?? Your video is wonderful ❤️️
+The Peaches Thank u 😊 but about the hair color, honestly I don't think it will show up at all. Black needs to be removed with a color remover and possibly bleach. Also blue and black are cool tones and burgundy and reds are warm tones so they are completely opposite 😕 I would try removing at least some of the color to get to at least a medium brown. I know there's a drugstore color remover called Oops. Just do ur research and read the directions. Good luck ❤️

Oh man I need to get this hair dye. I just dyed mine a midnight violet from loreal feria and it made my hair a soft black with a soft violet tint 😠. It looks okay I suppose but not what I wanted. When it fades I'm getting this one.

I dyed my hair burgundy.
It looks more red than burgundy and just like you, it shows only in the sunlight. You can see a little bit, but looks brown still. Im looking forward to dying my hair again but using a different brand.
Yours is VERY PRETTY. Yours is more violet than mine. Mine is more of a red ish. I also had VERY VERY dark brown hair. I saw that brand at the store so I might get that one next!
K Panda you have to bleach it a little for the colour to be brighter.
May try this dye today. I've had the same issues with the fading using the L'Oréal Féria V48 & have been in search for a better formula! Love the results im going to have to give it a try!!! Thx for the video.

+A Wells This will not lift ur hair color so it will not show up on black hair. It's best on light and medium brown hair. U might have to bleach first and would def need 2 boxes 👍🏼
2 boxes isn't enough, 4 is. i used to have long ass hair (about more than 40 cm) and i picked 2 boxes of a dark red (garnier), that wasn't enough

Rachael Snoxhill sounds like my work ughh why even worry about these colors they are not too bright say like manic panic colors. But I would suggest asking your job first before doing it. You don't want them to say you need to re dye it. They did that on this girl that worked with me she dyed it rose gold looked so pretty next thing you know they told her she needed to re dye it. I would have quit. She spent 200 dollars to dye it that color to only wear it for days. But good luck I am thinking of trying it lol. You
