i love the theory crafting. It's part of the experience. They say that people can get more joy planning and anticipating a trip than the trip itself. This feels like the same thing. I can get a lot of joy and dopamine from some spoilers and months of excitement for the game. There is going to be so much awesome in this game, it will be hard to spoil even a small fraction of it.
I love watching your videos, not only because you are a very fun speed runner and I think your game theorizing is really fun but I feel you have a great view on the total picture. I had just been thinking recently that once the game is out it's gonna take a few years until we can speculate and wonder and try to crack a little puzzlebox before opening it. Don't get me wrong, playing the game is going to be so fun and we are gonna get so much more lore to poke at, but the anticipation and excitement should be savored and I thank you for bringing attention to it.

I have a theory about tears of the kingdom that I think might be wrong because I haven't seen it anywhere else. My theory is that tears of the kingdom is going to be the final epic combination of some of the main Zelda games. In the most recent trailer, we got to see tear like objects which different characters had, like riju, Sidon, tulin, Zelda and ganon. This seems a lot like the sages from ocarina of time. The game also seems like it is going to have a much darker theme, the same the twilight princess had. Also during the most recent trailer we saw that Zelda was in Hyrule, but a different looking Hyrule, including maybe an alternate dimension, the same that Twilight Princess had. We get sky islands that of course resemble skyward sword. The same map and characters from breath of the wild. I'm not too sure about wind waker, but in one of the pages of the artbook, there was a new outfit that made link look like the wind waker link. There were also lots of musical Easter eggs and references in the latest trailer referencing different themes from different games as well as including the Zelda main theme. Tears of the kingdom also brings back ganon, which could mean ganons last stand, as we haven't seen him since twilight princess. All the other games I have told you about also have ganon in them. I hope you enjoyed my theory, I'm not sure if it is right or not because I have not seen people talking about it but I hope you enjoy this theory

Based on botu Zelda and Sidon having magatamas (a lot of people are calling them "tear drops") and another trailer showing 7 magatamas I think we are going to see 7 sages and 7 dungeons which would be really cool! Zeldas magatama also has the recall icon on it so maybe there are 7 abilities, meaning 3 we don't know about!
@@eunie9 it's a part of Japanese mythology. I mostly know of them through the Shin Megami Tensei games. I don't really know a lot about what they represent but they tend to come in several color varients and represent thinks like emotions or elements.

And this is about gameplay. I was thinking on the winged swit of the trailer and something a youtuber said (i think it was hmk) about earning the abilities of champions after making them sages but now more related to movement. So you would roll with the goron ability, swim with the zora one, and fly with the rito one. Then the question is, what would the gerudo one do? Well what if riju's power is dual wielding melee weapons? Furthermore, what if this abilities are instead special suits made for you? Just like the zora garment was really unique in granting special water movement, what if now after (or during) each dungeon you get a special clothing set that gives you a unique champion ability once the set is complete. You could have underwater exploration with the new zora tunic, better air movement with the rito poncho, and the dancer set gives you the ability to equip a melee weapon on the shield slot. That said, I debate whether the goron set should be fo running, rolling, or enhanced shield surfing. Any ideas?
I agree that if you have an opinion, state it. However, don't discredit other opinions as they may just as valid as your own, and people are just theorizing what they think is going on. I think you have a really strong theory, so much so, i think it scares people a little that you nailed it- Knowing you have 'peeked in the art book", I think people wonder how much of your theory comes from what you gleened therein. Also, I think people with "english as a second language" have a tendency, when speaking English, not to hit on the "I thinks" "perhapses" and "maybees". I know that commonweath realm guy talks like it is 2025 and he is just talking about a zelda game from 2 years ago: "this happens then that happens"as if there is zero doubt in his mind as if he knows for a fact. Since they're using BOTW as the base game to build TOTK, do you think they will still have the same glitches like BLSS, shield clipping, camera clipping, menu overload, whistle run etc, or do you think they'll be patched ?
While TotK does look similar in a lot of it's asthetics and mechanics, I doubt there's gonna be a lot of of glitches that transfer over (especially not ones tied to abilities unique to either game); however, it should be noted that something like this has happened before with Majora's Mask sharing a lot of glitches with OoT so it's not entirely impossible.

I think the zonai are the original sheikah tribe. they changed when ganon was born because ganondorf killed a lot of the original members so they had to adapt. Just a thought. No substance behind the theory. 😅

IT IS A FACT that Ganondorf is the Gerudo King.

Riju and any Gerudo that allies with Hylians are the "Yiga" of Ganondorf and the Gerudo. Yiga are traitors to Hyrule, Riju is a traitor to the Gerudo.

I think traditionally Nintendo is very thorough with that yes
I think that even if not patched, some glitches will not be possible because of the new base powers

I 100% agree if I had to put money on it the story is likely much less introcate than many of us speculate

I'm personally into the idea that goat/bunny/zonai/dragon is some incarnation of Link and the girl is some incarnation of Zelda, perhaps from an alternate reality.. I think the two dragons in the logo represent these two parallel realities meeting..
I base this almost wholly on link from link to the past turning into a bunny when he crosses over into the dark world...
I fully expect to be totally wrong of course
