First time I’ve heard someone not prefer the sports tourismo. I too went into car shopping with a desire for the coupe version. But in person the st won it. Best car I’ve ever owned. Swapped into a the turbos s ehybrid from a merc gt63s. Porsche better drive way more comfortable when on B roads, not as loud as merc double the fuel consumption! Doesn’t loose anything on speed.

Excellent review! Got mine in sedan form (chalk exterior with Bordeaux red interior). It’s the best car I’ve ever had. A secret super car. I’d taken it again over anything BMW or Mercedes has to offer. It’s the perfect blend of luxury, performance, efficiency, with the absolute best quality and reliability. There’s simply nothing quite like this car. The sedan was road tested by Motorweek at 3.2 seconds 0-60. It’s mind blowing for a 5,000 pound “family” sports car.

chalk and bordeaux red - mmmm thats a great combo. i found a turbo se hyrbid sports tourismo with the red leather also in chalk - but was 10k more than the same model and spec in agate grey. I saved the 10k! but always think the chalk looks unique. As you say i cant imagine owning a better car in the fast 4 seat category- certainly several levels up from the amg gt63s and bmw m8 gc as both suffer from a really poor ride on anything other than perfect tarmac i found. now i yearn after the latest model as it has more miles on the battery!
@@mygoogle1482 congrats and glad you’re enjoying yours. The $3.5k extra option for the special chalk color was a steep price to pay just for a color choice but it’s worth it in my mind. If you ever upgrade, I highly recommend the 2022 model with the new PCM 6. It’s great! And yes, larger 17.9kw battery.
@@SS-22interesting i didnt realise the pcm had changed much (currently i find it ok merc was better) - also think latest model has even better suspension on dodgy b-roads? i think id get it again just newer - which removes half the fun (i.e. limits researching and driving other cars). any ideas?
@@mygoogle1482 I’m not exactly sure about the suspension although Porsche always improves so I’d imagine 971.2 is better than 971.1. I honestly love my 2022 Panamera 4S E-Hybrid. It’s the best car I’ve ever had. It does everything from being a high-performance super car to a family car that lets us cruise around town in full EV!
Your vids should get more views... they are great! Only thing I disagree with is ... the wagon is WAY better looking than the sedan. But taste is subjective. Wish yours was a bit better. LOL. Kidding of course.

check out the st in person it looks way better than in pics - i went for a coupe and ended up with st as just loved it in person more. either way you're onto a winner

@@rong8889 i was the same, so don't really know how i ended up with it! but i love it?? a brilliant car. enjoy the test drives - i reckon the newest model with the biggest battery is the one I would go for but couldnt stretch the extra 30k required to do so in uk when i bought mine. my only critisism is i get around 20 maybe less miles to my battery - just 10 miles more would make a big difference. the new model has this plus.
