Looking back, I think this is the best episode of the show. It has all the great elements of greatness and seems almost entirely scripted. If I didn't know better I would've never believed such coherence could exist in a largely impromptu situation. But then again, Craig is GREATNESS personified! . . . And Laurie is soooo damn HOT in that red dress !
This show was great. So unique and creative. When I first saw him, I was not sure I would like him. But it did not take long once I gave him a chance. It is sad, but he would not last or even get hired for a talk show in today’s environment where everyone is so easily offended.

I don’t know if there was anybody who has a talk show that was or is better. Unfortunately with his stand up you can’t see any of this. But it is still good.
Southern hospitality is a front. Segregated proms, Jim Crow laws like poll taxes, Bible belt, highest teen pregnancy rates, divorce rates, murder rates. Lowest education, social welfare (that means health, not government spending), etc.
laurie holen is normally a hot woman, but whatever you do don't watch THE MIST. they turned her into a clown with that makeup job. her eyebrows looked creepy.
