They need to stay away from restrictive gun control or bans. I don't think they have any idea just how many people out there love their firearms, way more than they like Trump. They vote Trump and the Republicans just because of their fear of Democrats coming for their guns. There are more firearms than people in the U.S. That is one huge basket. When you start to point out Trump's lies and stupidity, they agree and wish he would shut up, but they will state that the alternative is Democrats want and will pass more gun restrictions. It depends on your understanding of native born. Even the Native Americans immigrated from Europe and/or Asia thousands of years ago. Some current European and African Americans can trace their families back hundreds of years. The length of residency to qualify as native born is flexible.

Carly Fiorina really had some good points. I wish the Democrat party would talk about the distrust in media, government and politicians and acknowledge it - but electig trump isnt the answer. not only that I think white christians are so disconnected from racism ( I know from whence I speak ) --- and it needs to be addressed in terms that they understand --- whatever color you are in the christian community we are one body - and if we have cancer it just doesnt affect the breast ( or wherever ) it affects the WHOLE body and there is a part of our body that is being attacked and we must do EVERYTHING we can to protect that part bof our body for the health of the whole body. Meaning the black community is being attacked by racism so we must protect that part of our body. How could we ever look the black community in our church in the eyes again if we don't. THAT needs to be talked about at EVERY church from EVERY pulpit ...but just the fact that black men and women, who are unarmed can get shot on the spot & it gets justified by the masses alone show how we are fighting for the soul of our nation. I think you misunderstand the word nativism. It's the political policy of promoting the interests of native (born) inhabitants (meaning anybody born in the US, not just indigenous peoples) against those of immigrants, including by supporting immigration-restriction measures.

Under Trump, North Korea has _expanded_ its nuclear weapons programme. Trump threatened to disband the alliance between SKorea and America. Gave NKorea recognition as a nuclear world power. Allowed Kim to strengthen ties with China and Russia. And accomplished *nothing* to diminish the threat NKorea poses to South East Asia.

Overall, the DNC pulled in *more* ratings on its opening night: 19millon D, to 17m R, according to Nielsen ratings.
