Thanks for taking the time to put this video up. I am about to perform the same task on my 1969 Ford 100. I have the outer clamshell of the reverser off and apart. I am still trying to find snapring pliers small enough to get in and get the circlip off the input shaft. Can you tell me...in the reverse box, are both bearings & both shaft seals the same part#? I know the outer is a ND R12 bearing & outer seal is a National #480954. Is it the same on the inside as well?
@@joeheilm I'm about to do the same job on my '68 Ford 100, I noticed how my pulley was able to move around and oil leaks so I took it apart and it seems like the shaft that comes out of the trans is loose aswell, did you have to replace the bearing at any point in the trans or just the rollers in the reversing gearbox?
@@atractorkid7 the shaft on mine was not horrible so i just redid the reverse box and left the trans alone. Good luck, these are great machines. Cheers

No, I don't do any kind of side work. It was a pretty easy project, if you have any questions let me know and I can try and help.
what oil an how much do you put in there
I think I just packed mine with grease. If I recall correctly, I don't think mine was oil tight.
Part # for the ball bearing ?
Someone replaced it on mine with a homemade bushing

Lol...my bad. I believe this was the bearing R12, 3/4 x 1-5/8 x 5/16 inch, Radial Bearing
