At least this guy went to the museum, so what if he does not know his stuff at least he made a video of the worlds largest car collection that I did not know existed until now and I only live 370 miles away, I plan to check it out thanks for making the video.

Mr. LeMay was a customer of my company and he gave me a tour back in the 1980s. The building and the land that the buildings are on were formerly a small Catholic school. Mr LeMay bought the property and buildings and let the nuns continue to live on the property.

Give Ross a break guy's, So it's obvious that he knows little about cars, but at least he took the effort to post a video of these cars for us to look at, which is more effort than most of the people complaining about him being car illiterate , Let's see your informative car videos!

I just think if you're going to do a video about something you should at least know a little about the subject you're making a video about. And with the internet its very easy to find information on practically any subject. But especially cars. As I'm typing this comment I'm hearing him say Doesengerg. Who doesn't know what a Deusenberg is? He knew the Mercedes but only because of the hood ornament. Wow... Just wow.

I was going to say how bad I feel for all the hateful comments you got. Why can people not just leave it alone if they do not like the video do not watch it. Ok so you are not a car expert but you never pretended to be one. You filmed the written descriptions and the presentation of the curator was very interesting and informative. Overall I liked your video. Keep it up.

Some very nice rides. Every Duesenberg was was custom ordered from the upholstery, types of rare woods and metals etc.. They were so special, whenever people would see one, many would exclaim, "It's a Doosie!" which is still part of our vernacular today.

That 48 Tucker was sold to thousands who reserved their car 50 to 200 bucks and got some luggage or gloves or other Tucker swag but the car never got into production past that 48 or 50th one. My dad happened to be one of hundreds or thousands who bought a Tucker and got a jacket or car jack or some damn thing! Called himself one of many owners of Tucker number 49 since Tucker kept number 50 for himself.

that 83 dusenburg II i helped build. i worked at elite heritage motors in elroy,wi. from nov81 to feb 86.i believe the placard is incorrect. only the first boattail speedster was built using a ford truck chassis. after that, the frame jig was built we built our own frames. easiest way to tell is look underneath. if you see an x crossmember between the frame rails, we built it. all dusenburg IIs used the powertrain and components from a new ford truck. all the rest we fabricated and the brass castings we finished to be chromed.those came from foundries. the spoked wheels were custom built in cali.

Sorry, correction, at 36:30 Bertha Benz drove already a 4 wheel version in 1889 called Benz Victoria after German Queen and she took her 2 sons with her. Second the Curved Dash Oldsmobile was a world success, even in Germany there was a license taker the "Polymobil" produced in Leipzig a few dozen cars from these. Polyphon was a big producer of grammophone machines.

Unfortunately, many descriptions were cut short during video editing. However, it is good to know this collection exists. Dude, awesome vid!!! Thank you. Im a little startled though you went to this spectacular place with no background knowledge about cars at all. There was so much technology back in the day when it comes to cars its not even funny. As a matter of fact electric cars were more popular than gas ones, yes electric!!!! Rockafeller killed innovation!!! He was so focused on addicting the world to petroleum so he can billions that even back then they invested heavily to kill new technolgy that would geopardize his growth. Its a shame. Can you imagine if they kept up with electric cars since the beggining, we would have been petrol free by the 60s ...... All this technolgy that you see on these old cars never made it mainstream cause it doesnt generate money for the stupid big car manufacturers.

Please take this criticism for what it is The constant zooming in and out onto the cards description is annoying. I realise you are not a car person but for future reference do a dry run with pad and paper so that you know what the subject is rather than rely on the descriptive cards.

The Tucker cars were made in Chicago 76th and Cicero it's called Ford City that's where the man mr. Tucker made his cars and was put out of business because he had a lot of safety features in that car which threatened all three car makers which put him out of business because of his ingenuity since you say you know a little bit about that just thought I'd say that and that George Barris Car was way ahead of its time because of its unique look and smooth Hood I'm super Hawks and Golden Hawks and all them or very unique cars of of their time thanks for showing what you say about cars some more cars I've never heard of that they had thank you for shelling God bless happy New Year.

OMG man, Fiat is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, car manufacturer in the world. Almost 120 yrs.

I'm a card not have been since I was 10 years old the reason DeLorean went out of business is because he got caught selling a large quantity of coke to support his car business and for a long time they kept an eye on him until they finally caught up to him selling a large amount of Coke. now it was not just forward that put Tucker out of business it was all three companies General Motors and Chrysler Corporation not just Ford. Look up the movie if you could find it the man and his machine Jeff Bridges plays Tucker in the movie you will see that all three companies put his out of business not just Ford.
