- In today’s video, Freddy is back, and we’ve got something fun lined up! If you’ve been watching the channel for a while, you’ll know Freddy Steele-amazing horse trainer, dressage rider, and stunt rider extraordinaire. But today, we’re switching things up a bit as Freddy tackles something he’s not as well known for… jumping! Yep, he's hopping on Wilma to take her over a few fences.
Even though jumping isn’t exactly Freddy’s forte, he handled Wilma like a natural-no surprises there, right? It’s always great having him around, and of course, it’s a bit of a laugh seeing him take on something outside his usual dressage or stunt work. I think you’ll enjoy this one!

Wilma is really blossoming under your care and training, Meg, and all the lessons you've taken her to. She has really evolved into a much more adaptable eventing horse in a short time. Kudos to you. Your little bit of control was showing and made me giggle when you told Freddy Wilma's the only horse I have to ride right now and were regretting your decision to put him up on her. My control would so much worse, I don't think I could have done it. I'm sure it's good for Wilma to have other riders, but I can't think of why right now? .... at least Freddy has great natural balance and soft hands, so no harm done, other than anxiety making. I hope you're pleased with yourself and Wilma as you both deserve it :)

I have an idea Meg! Flash signs up on the screen when your joking. Lol. I worked with a person who never got humour so we held up signs, "joke coming" so they understood we were not being serious. I love sarcastic humour and banter, becoming a lost art I'm afraid. Presenting vlogs in a light hearted way with lots of laughter is what I like to see.

I would be terrified to ride in an arena with a cliff drop over the fence. That's insane. Has anyone ever gone over, never to return?
Just a small hill down then a gradual slope 😂 the steep first bit is about a meter long a meter down i think so nothing too bad 😂❤❤❤
The arena I ride is like that, and... there's no fence 💀 it dips into a ditch created by a nearby stream, so it's probably not more than 6-8 ft, but I have wondered more than once about what could happen......

Hi vet tech here she doesn’t look “lame” rather than not tracking under herself at the walk. Which can be easily a rider issue. She’s also still green so that’s a factor too. But she looks fine at trot

Wilma IS NOT LAME in her hindleg, if she was lame. One of her hindquarters would be higher than the other, this would be because Wilma would be taking weight off her hindleg that is sore and putting it on the opposite leg. Also, when a horse has a sore leg and it's bandaged, the opposite leg will also be bandaged. This is to support the sound leg, when the Horse takes the weight off its unsound leg and putting it on the opposite sound leg.

Hi. I think the first time I saw Freddy was when you went to him after your fall. Can you please explain what Freddy actually does? My memory isn't what I'd like. Meg you have amazing vlogs.
