A different kind of desk organizer

Continuing in my quest to get better at this woodworking thing (while working down my scrap pile!), I embark on a one day desk organizer build! This thing was designed completely around my personal needs and the things I interact with at my desk, so it probably wouldn't work for everyone, but so far it's been good for me! Great video! For someone with no woodworking experience, this video makes the craft look approachable. I love the subtle humor, background jazz and clear voiceover. This feels like the sort of video I'd want to watch on a couch while sipping a hot tea.

Have you considered something like a biscuit joiner for these types of joints? The screws were very close to the edge of the boards, at certain angles you could see the bulge of the veneer.
Anyway, it looks cool. 👍

Good call! I wanted to avoid using glue so I had the option to take it apart later, and as far as I know biscuits would require glue to create a strong joint. And yeah you're right def got some bulging there, but luckily it was on the side and back where it isn't visible. If I this were a client project I'd def be more careful!
