Once I got killed as pharah because lucio booped up the rein, then junkrat threw both mines at him and sent him even higher, and next thing I knew I saw a Rein coming out of the sky pinning me on a wall
I imagine the enemies just playing and chilling when they see this gigantic beer chugger appearing out of the sky and flying straight into the backline Can't wait to try this
Liam has another classic Paris charge: Start on the left of choke Get Mei walled onto the slanted roof Lucio amps speed as you charge and bank to the right You will land on the area highlighted green in the video...
imagine getting in your car on the perfect day, just for a nice drive, when some huge ass german knight covered in some weird pink energy barrier jumps infront of your car, and on it, and then gets sent flying up miles high, and then he charges over the rooftop, next thing you know, you hear some egyptian chick scream.
On volskaya, if you are an attacker stuck at the first choke, you can go just past the gate on the right side and charge towards the cliff past the building with the mega healthpack. If you start just after the gate you should be able to get them off the cliff and stay alive. Youll be behind the enemy and you created a gap in the enemies defence. And on junkertown you can surprise the enemy straight out of spawn by charging them off the cliff on either side. Also on that map, when you respawn, jump out of the window above the big gate and charge on the right of the stairs of the building with the mega. Than pick someone up that comes out between the two buildings and drop them off at the cliff.
As a Rein main with 500+ hours on console these charges are gonna come in clutch for dealing with widow's thank you my guy! I'm Irish to, nice to see more Irish Rein mains, good luck in contenders!
This makes me beyond happy. Liam is legendary for his hilarious and effective DiveRein and this is the quality shenanigans I asked for the other week. Thank you for being willing to explore cheeky gameplay like this! As always a gorgeous video! ♥
That's a great video, thank you both! I like to say that it would be good to have a video where we see the shortest route as normal walking heroes (like Zen or Hog) to the point or the payload located faraway. For example I would like to know which one is shorter distance: going left or right from the spawn (both as offense and defense) to get to the first point in Volskaya Industries map. The idea also applies to most of the heroes even though they have their pushing abilities like Brig with Shiled Bash, McCree with Combat Roll, or Zarya with her secondary fire to the ground since in most cases they just shorten their walking duration, that's it. These would require some testing but it is a video we need, I think.
LJ tower garden tip is one i found before but there is a much better way to do it. If you go a little forward from spawn door and aim for the little incline in the middle (7:27 left of middle rock (with the little rocks and sands)) you can get enough height to pass the gap and break the railings with charge. Its much more consistent then the tec in the video
I went to Hollywood and practiced that one last night. I can do it every time now. Aim at the palm tree, jump back from the scaffolding onto the roof, and charge as you're sliding down. Hit the cross section on the scaffolding in front of you and it bumps you high enough to get on the roof.
I started doing these on Volskaya when I learned by accident as a defender you can start charging by a patch on the ground by the lamp post before you walk into A, used to catch a lot of people unaware who thought they were going to finish capping A easy, but now days there's ALWAYS a mcree/ana around waiting to flashbang/sleep your every move and it rarely pays off now without a bubble. Also on Volskaya point b as defender or attacker you've got enough distance to charge from either the environmental edge on the left to the right, or vice versa.
Liam is that one in a million yolo-charge gold player who perfected their narnia charges to the point where the shit actually turns Rein into a GM playable dive hero.. mad shit
After watching this I tried out a couple and it's so fun, got me back into my cliff charging habits, even found a new one for me, on Junkertown on the attackers starting spawn start at the very left side of the porch charge and curve left and dump em off the map, then take the back stairs, jump the gap and you're back on height
not really sure where to post this but here is a deeply obscure and nearly inconsequential junkrat tech: when running back to point if you are on flat ground and running in a straight line, if you look downward at about a 30-40 degree angle and shoot your nades, as you walk over them the small knock back combined with a jump will push your forward sliiiightly faster.
I feel like KarQ deserves more subs because the great work and collaborations he does with other pro players is honestly amazing and that’s why he just earned 1 more sub.
Guys he doesn't have a lisp, he's just recovering from all the failed attempts to land these charges! Seriously though, as a Rein main myself some of these have been game changers, thank you.

Literally everyone: NOOOO YOU CANT PLAY REINHARDT AS A FLANKER YOU HAVE TO PROTECT AND SHIELD YOUR TEAM!!!! NOOOOOO!!!! Liam: haha big hammer man go brrrrr
For Lj garden you can start your charge line up to the right of the pillar outside of spawn door. Then use the small flowerbed to the left of where you jump. This gets you on the platform, and you don't have to worry about the barriers.
There's also a different spot on Volskaya, this time on second point. You can charge right from the bottom of the stairs at the mega on the right (defender's pov) and charge an enemy off the cliff at the mega on the left (again def pov) without you falling off. Quite helpful if someone's flanking from the left side or if the enemy's pushing main.
I actually used that Lijiang Garden charge in a game with a team that didn’t know it existed. It gave me really quick respawns and my team was in awe at the maneuver.

Some of these require the entire enemy team to be completely oblivious to the giant armored German man doing some rock climbing.
Karq for the bastion tip vs every hero you have to have none other than the Lord bastion main
This is so creepy, this morning I was playing rein and thought about you should make this exact video. Spooked.
Liam is that one in a million yolo-charge gold player who perfected their narnia charges to the point where the shit actually turns Rein into a GM playable dive hero.. mad shit

These are amazing thank you so much, cant wait to show it off

Parkour Rein!! Haha man i never knew you could get away with so much charging. Great video.
not really sure where to post this but here is a deeply obscure and nearly inconsequential junkrat tech: when running back to point if you are on flat ground and running in a straight line, if you look downward at about a 30-40 degree angle and shoot your nades, as you walk over them the small knock back combined with a jump will push your forward sliiiightly faster.
also walling your self up into a ceiling while moving shoots you out a bit faster
I swear to God, if there is a Zen tech on every map, I would flip out Hahaha.
Either zen ult zoomyatta rollouts (0 practicality), or every single small gap you can shoot balls through
This is nice stuff. I play a ton of Rein in deathmatch and know all of the crazy charges and bounce pad nonsense with charge on those maps.

For Lj garden you can start your charge line up to the right of the pillar outside of spawn door. Then use the small flowerbed to the left of where you jump. This gets you on the platform, and you don't have to worry about the barriers.
DIVE REIN
There's also a different spot on Volskaya, this time on second point. You can charge right from the bottom of the stairs at the mega on the right (defender's pov) and charge an enemy off the cliff at the mega on the left (again def pov) without you falling off.
