    Hey yogis, in today's video I'm going to show you how you can master triangle pose, called Trikonasana in Sanskrit. Triangle pose can be tricky because most students believe it's about touching the floor, but I'm confident that these tips will help you make the balancing process a bit easier :)
    There are some common misalignment and misconceptions about triangle pose. Rather than aiming to get low and touch the floor, we're looking for dynamic activation through both legs, length in the spine and length through the arms. As if we were expanding in all directions! We are also trying to rotate our chest slightly and lean back to get a full extension. Grab a block and get close to the wall and I'll talk you through it!

      Would love a tutorial of a whole practice, like the basics of a flow. I love the detail you go into in these tutorials but I find it difficult to remember everything when it comes to actually practicing, so a short slowed down flow that focuses on form and alignment would be great!

      I watched the half moon video but my hamstring is too tight to turn my hips to touch the wall. This one is also too hard. Is there an easier pose that can help me and my tight hamstrings progress into triangle and halfmoon?

    I would like tutorial on downward dog or forward fold. I have always done yoga alone, and cant seem to do the former, and the latter doesnt seem to feel right either 🤷‍♀️ this triangle pose was incredibly helpful, loved the tip on lifting kneecaps.thank you.

    Kassandra, excellet tutorial to see how to do the alignmet the right way, The wall will allow me to realize when I am wrong. You were my inspiration to practice yin yoga...     I'd like a little more in depth look at chaturanga. I only just realized legs are lifted in those? I'm not sure of the difference between chaturanga and upward dog (and cobra).

    I really like when you do these pose tutorials too! They're great for focusing back in on your technique and also the more advanced ones are great fun! I was wondering whether you might do a tutorial video for wild thing. You often do it in your videos and sometimes my other yoga instructors tell us to do it but I'm never really sure if I'm doing it correctly as different people seem to do it differently.       It will help you to activate the feet, and then up the leg. Find the four corners of your foot, spread the weight through them, and lift the arches up.

    I know that you are supposed to have the side of the body that is closer to the ceiling lengthened and straight, but what about the side of the body that is closer to the floor? I feel like when I reach down with my bottom hand my bottom side body condenses. Is it important to keep both side bodies straight and not try to reach down as far with your bottom hand? This is the pose I’m having the most difficulty with right now

    Yogis have practiced this pose bending forward and sideways for eons.its iyengar who came up with this version of alignment.his master was much more laidback about it.....so this alignment is ok but it's only a theory,a possibility.....plus,this posture is quite useless in hathayoga.....extended side triangle is the key pose ,it's usually women who go mad about this pose and become all authoritarian and obsessive about it....truth is,this pose is just a warm up.
